Durable, sturdy, and cats love to stretch, scratch and perch!
Our cats love this.My husband and I have 7 cats, every one of them loves to sit on the tiny platform and stretch out to scratch the top. The height is nice for them to stretch out for our shorter kitties. We do have some large cats and they could use a taller post, which blows my mind. 3 feet is so tall for a cat! The little ball didn’t take long to be destroyed though. That’s just the nature of the beast.The quality of the scratcher has been pleasing. We have had this for a couple of months and besides the ball, everything has held up just fine. They haven’t made a dent in the scratching material and with 7, you know it’s being used a LOT. They do love to play around the scratcher and jump to the top however, when they quickly jump off, because of where it’s at, it does wobble and fall over. That could be fixed by securing it in a better location. This thing is really sturdy and doesn’t budge or bust when it gets knocked down. They love laying on it after knocking over!The material of the scratcher is wood, not cardboard, which makes it more durable. That is a huge plus when looking for scratch posts. Since our kitties love it so much, I think we are going to purchase a couple more in the future. This buy was a huge win as this is definitely worth every penny.

Great Scratching Post. Kitty Approved!
This good-looking cat scratcher is a winner for kitty. I only had to show her once and the scratching has been crazy ever since. She loves to stretch on it when she wakes up from a nap and then digs away with her claws. She finally plays with the ball after a few days and scales the post to get to the top to checkout her kingdom. She has rubbed it to death leaving her scent all over it. It fits perfect off the edge of my couch, so she no longer attempts to claw up the corner of it. I thought the price was decent for the quality it offers. It went together easily for hubby, and I love the beige and creamy white color. It actually dresses up the area. Looks expensive but isn’t. Kitty Approved!

Good for xl cats
I have a 19 lb cat that is also very tall and this works great for him. It is sturdy enough that he doesn’t knock it over when he is putting all of his weight on it. I like that it isn’t shredding like my other scratching posts and it is narrow enough to fit easily in smaller spaces. It also looks really nice which is an added bonus. I highly recommend buying this!

Excellent scratch post
This scratch post is an excellent value for the price. I looked at a lot that were similar for significantly more. This scratch post is tall and a really great size. All my previous scratch posts were that thick twine like material wrapped around the post but I actually prefer these panels instead. It just doesn’t look as disheveled as those after use.Unfortunately one of my cats did tear off the ball only a couple days after owning this but she has done that for every single scratch post she we have owned and she ends up enjoying it as a toy ball on its own so it works out!! I still find this one more durable/sturdy over others but I had to remove a star for that loss. Assembly was easy and it came with a tool to get the job done. I would highly recommend this post. I plan to buy more to replace my worn out scratch posts.These save my furniture!! If you’re a newer cat owner and are struggling with your cats scratching your furniture I suggest in investing in multiple scratch posts. One is not going to do it. I keep 1 or sometimes 2 in almost every room. It takes time but they learn and these scratch posts will offer you furniture protection. I also love that this one is a neutral color for my home.

Five stars from my four cats!
Perfect size and material for my 4 cats. I just got it and it was super simple to put together; rubbed a little catnip on it and all 4 took to it right away.I like that it’s a woven sisal fabric instead of sisal rope wound around it – the rope ALWAYS gets frayed and then one of my cats chews on it, which can’t be good for her. We’ll see how long this fabric holds up, but for now I’m quite pleased and will likely order another oneThe cream color is neutral and blends in; the plush fabric on the base and top is soft. So far only one of my cats has jumped up to sit on top, but that’s okay, they have 3 other cat trees in the living room so there’s no shortage of places to sit. The 2-level design means there’s a little strip of plush in the middle, which seems to attract my cats to rub their cheek on that spot. (it’s probably just the catnip!) But the design is attractive and just a little different than other tall scratching posts.I’m not expecting the hanging toy to last, they rarely do, but that’s no big deal. Overall I think this is an excellent scratching post and a good value for the price.

The string/rope is plastic
Pretty easy to assemble (though I hate the split bases), but my cat simply just doesn’t like plasticy string and would not even touch this thing. I like the large size of it. It’s aesthetically appealing. It feels sturdy like it’ll last a long time. But he just doesn’t like it. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I realized the string was plastic.

I recently bought the AGYM 32-inch Cat Scratching Post, and I’m so happy with this purchase! The height is perfect — my full-grown cat can stretch out completely while scratching, which helps her get a good workout and keeps her from using my furniture.The base is very sturdy, so it doesn’t wobble or tip over, even when my cat jumps at it or climbs up. The sisal rope is tightly wound and feels durable — it’s been a few weeks now, and it still looks brand new despite heavy daily use.Assembly was quick and easy, taking less than five minutes. The neutral color also looks nice in my living room, not too flashy like some other posts.If you have a medium to large cat or just want a post that will last a long time, I highly recommend this one. Updated July 2025: I still have this post and it’s still in good condition. The cats scratch it a lot and it’s not all shredded up like other ones. The ball came off, but after 2 years it’s still in really good shape.I barely got it out of the box and put together before they started playing on it. Super easy to assemble, seems sturdy and good quality. It’s quite tall which is good for my bigger boys and the girls will definitely like perching on the top.

This scratching post is the best I’ve ever had for my medium size cat. It’s covered with a durable scratching material that doesn’t shred, and it’s fairly stable. I glued a piece of non-skid carpet to the bottom to keep it from sliding on my wood flooring.
