This de-matter actually works!
I’m amazed!! This product actually works. We have a two year old goldendoodle. She swims a lot and her legs, armpits, ears, etc. get really matted. We have tried softening shampoos and de-matting sprays. Nothing really works and we end up cutting lots of knots out of her fur or taking her to the groomer to get shaved. We saw the Skip the Groomer products and thought we’d give it a try. The emergency de-matter is like a cross between a gel and a cream. You rub a dollop into the knotted fur and let it sit for a few minutes. It doesn’t detangle the knot completely, but it softens it enough that we can comb through the knot and work it out. I think if we stay on top of the knots, this product is going to work great!!!

PROFESSIONAL GROOMER, WORTH EVERY CENT!
I’m a professional groomer and have been for over 10 years, before that certified professional trainer who started as a dog bather so I’ve been working with dogs professionally for about 20 years and bathing/brushing has always been a factor. I’ve used pretty much every professional grooming product under the sun! Since 2020 I’ve been working for myself and keeping costs low is not only important but NECESSARY. However I’ve been searching for a highly effective super duty dematting product that ACTUALLY works and I’ve tried (and wasted money on) A LOT. I decided to give this one a try even though my wallet screamed at me but I’m here to say it is WORTH EVERY PENNY.It saved a dog from open sores by gently removing EXTREME built up crust and I only had to use a small amount of product. This is as close to a miracle as I’ve seen and I’ll be a lifetime customer.

It might be ok for a tangle, but I have two Aussiedoodles that play and give each other Matt’s. It did not get any out.

This stuff is amazing!!!! I have two doodles that can be a grooming challenge and this is a life saver. This saved me the cost and my dogs the pain of dematting at the groomers. I won’t be without this in the house.

take your time, it works!
The QR code on the bottle showed me how to really use the product right. Basically. What I learned is you put the cream on the mat, let it sit for a minute or two then get the rake type brush, I bought Skips version. Start at the top and worked my way down to the skin. I went slow and took my time after watching the video.The bottle opens and comes out like my hair conditioner bottle.
