It really helps keep my wild diggers from flinging litter everywhere. As for the sifting feature… it’s honestly a hit or miss for me. Sometimes it works beautifully with both pellets and clumping litter, and other times it feels like more effort than just scooping. Perfect for chunky cats
This is the product I very much needed for my three chunky cats. Plastic litter boxes get so gross so quickly and have an odor no matter what products I use to clean them. This stainless box is fantastic, they can’t scratch it or damage it. The multi-box system works perfectly with pine pellets. The lower layer with a pee pad is such an intelligent design, it’s so easy to change out the pad and scoop the poo without wasting as much litter. The size is perfect for big cats, I have a 20 pound cat and two 15 pound cats. One of them tends to be very messy in the box. He’ll usually do his business right on the corner and leave bits and liquid all over the sides and right outside the box. With this one he hasn’t had that issue at all, but even if he does, the included enclosure has a plastic/vinyl lining that is waterproof and so easy to clean.

Could be a good litter box if your cats use it
It’s a little difficult to give a full review of this product because my cats will not use it. My cats have multiple litter boxes all of which use clumping litter. This stainless steel box calls for non-clumping litter. I don’t know for sure if that’s why they won’t use it but since they’ve used other litter boxes I’ve purchased, that use clumping litter, it’s the only reason I can guess they won’t use this one. I do like the design of this box. It has three high sides that directly connect to the bottom panel. That way any cat sand that would spill over would still be in the enclosure. I like that it is stainless steel. That will make it easy to clean and it shouldn’t absorb any bad odor. I’m not sure of the functionally of this box. If my cats had used it I would still have to scoop poop out of the top while all the urine soaked through to the pee pad in the lower box. I don’t know if this would be any better than scooping clumping litter. I also wonder if there would be an order problem if the pee pad isn’t changed often, but I couldn’t test that since my cats won’t use the box. Overall, this may be a good litter box if your cats will use it but after a few weeks my cats haven’t touched it, even once, so it’s of no use to me.

Good Quality Litter Box Product
This litter box works so well with its sifter and high privacy walls. This litter box product keeps one of the cats’ potty space neater, cleaner, and works well for my multi-cat household. The way it works with pellet litter saves me from some frustration of stepping around on tiny loose granules of the clumping type of litter. Plus, I think the pellet litter is a softer type for the kitties to use – less granule usage means less old litter poking into their cute jelly bean toes. The cost seemed a little high for what you get, but for my cats and my household, it seemed worth it.

So I guess I’ll have the odd-ball review, here because I didn’t use these stainless steel trays for cat litter. I don’t even have a cat, but I clean lots of car parts. I’ve been using a old paint tray with a mesh style rack for paint rollers. Although it works, its small and easily spills solvent.These trays have made a much nicer, and much easier method for using solvent. When I’m done cleaning the parts, the solvent easily pours back into the solvent bucket for covered/sealed storage.

Quality item, have been using it for three weeks now, and it is an excellent purchase to be used with wood pellet. There is no odour of the litter, very easy to change the paper nappy and remove the poo.
