Give it some time
I’ve been taking this glucosamine regularly and noticed it’s easy on the stomach and simple to add to a daily routine. The tablets are a manageable size and consistent in quality. While supplements take time to notice results, this one feels reliable and well-made. Good choice if you’re looking for joint support without anything fancy. It does take some time to notice results. Pain is better and I do feel healthier. Great value for the money for sure

Relief for Joints, Tendons, & Cartilage- Mobility, Flexibility, Comfort, Lubrication, Recovery
Glucosamine sulfate is one of those supplements that’s been around for decades, and there’s a reason it’s stood the test of time. It’s a naturally occurring compound found in cartilage—the tough tissue cushioning our joints—and supplementing with it may help support repair processes, ease stiffness, and maintain joint health, especially in people dealing with age-related wear or repetitive stress from exercise or physical work. This particular formula delivers glucosamine sulfate sourced from shellfish (crab shells), which is the form most commonly used in studies for joint support. It’s a single-ingredient approach, not cluttered with a dozen other joint-friendly compounds like chondroitin or MSM. That could be a plus or minus depending on what you’re looking for—but for anyone wanting a focused, straight-up glucosamine dose, this keeps it clean. What’s also worth noting is that this supplement is free of sodium, non-GMO, and manufactured in the U.S. under cGMP and FDA-inspected conditions. That may not seem like much on paper, but it goes a long way toward peace of mind, especially if you’re concerned about supplement purity or production standards. The tablets themselves are relatively small, easy to take, and don’t have any of the fishy odor or gritty texture that sometimes shows up in shellfish-based supplements.I took this daily with food, once a day as directed. As with most joint support supplements, this wasn’t an overnight change type of product—it took a few weeks before I could really gauge its effects. I didn’t experience dramatic pain relief, but I did notice less tightness and discomfort during activities that normally push my knees or ankles a bit too far, like squatting or walking on uneven ground. No real changes in flexibility per se, but movement felt slightly more fluid, and recovery after a long day didn’t come with as much creakiness. Again, nothing bold or flashy, but sometimes it’s the lack of worsening symptoms that’s the win. I do think it’s one of those background supporters that’s probably more effective with consistent use over time, especially if you’re already staying active, hydrated, and taking care of your joints through exercise and mobility work. This could be a worthwhile staple for anyone dealing with joint stiffness, mild discomfort, or just trying to keep their knees, ligaments, and tendons in decent shape over time. If you’re looking for a multi-ingredient joint formula with bells and whistles, this one’s not it. But if you prefer a focused, well-sourced glucosamine product with clinical roots and long-term reliability, it’s a solid bet.**As always, results can vary from person to person. Consulting a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement is advisable. Keep well (:

Trying to prevent myself from having a “bad knee”
I walk up and down stairs a lot in my daily life and noticed I was starting to have some knee pain. I’m around 40 now and it’s about time body parts start creaking and groaning, so I started taking this. It comes in a glass jar, whereas most supplements come in plastic, so it’s not great for travel, also the size, shape, and texture of each pill makes it a bit unpleasant to swallow, as opposed to capsules. It’ll also leave a powdery residue on your hand. I’m sure it works just fine, but this particular supplement loses a star for the inconvenience of the jar and the unpleasant shape and texture.

digests well
This is a good supplement for me – it’s an uncoated tablet with a little bit of a powdery feel, but the size is not too big and not too small. It’s easy to swallow and it digests well. There is no smell or taste, which is nice, and I’m not having any burps or digestion issues from it.

Might be placebo, might be fantastic.
Glucosamine has been around for decades as a treatment for joint related problems with a number of studies showing it’s benefit for joint pain. I’ve used it off and on for years and decided to give it another try. After using it a month it helped some joints, but not others. My knees are noticeably less achy and stairs are a lot easier. However my hands feel no different. So like most of these supplements your mileage may vary. I had no stomach upset or other side effects from the tabs. They are a little smaller than other Glucosamine supplements I’ve used so no problem with swallowing. At the time I used them the cost of reasonable and a good value for the amount you received. So from my standpoint they were effective for my knee pain. As with all supplements, contact your physician prior to starting them as there is a chance glucosamine could worsening other medical conditions and may interfere with certain medications.

Good company, but weak supplement
I can’t believe Anabolic Laboratories is still in business. I remember buying supplements from them 20-25 years ago. And miraculously, they still sell their supplements in glass bottles (highly unusual then and now). I have no concerns about the quality or effectiveness of this supplement. I have used glucosamine for years; it is effective in strengthening joints. My big issue is that the serving size is only 500mg. That is an exceedingly small dose of glucosamine sulfate. And considering it is the only active ingredient in this supplement, it makes no sense why its not provided at a higher dose. You really need to take 3-5 pills a day at 500mg in order to compare to a typical joint supplement. Having said that, this is not the best value at all. Anabolic Laboratories is known for hard-pressing their pills, which means that the surface is somewhat dry. This may present swallowing issues or some (I have no problems). Its sad that the company is not being competitive, because I always liked their supplements.

Effective glucosamine supplement
I use a different brand of glucosamine chondroitin supplement for my joints, and I thought I would give this a try. I prefer pills to powders, and these were very easy to take. After using the entire bottle, I did find relief in my arthritic hips and knees.
