Using the leash to walk our dogs at night. There is an LED (or several, not sure) at each end and some kind of optic cable carrying the light across the length of the leash. On our first use its brighter at the switch and the clip and the glow carries across the middle nicely. I feel like if you look closely at the product picture again you can see what I am talking about.Very pleased overall with the form and function of the product.Will follow up in a few months if we have any issues.***3 month update: used approximately 3x per week. Only charged one time since initial purchase! We are still impressed with brightness and function!Note about rechargeable items: you don’t need to keep them on a charger! That causes premature wear on the battery.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM and would love a PURPLE version.****after about a year I’ve only charged it 3 times and it’s still going great.

Everyone needs this for their dog
I can’t believe I went this long in life not having light up leashes for my dogs. Primarily, this is great for walking safely at night. But it just looks cool. The leash gets a compliment from at least half the people who walk by. We have two girl shih tzus, so we got pink for both of them. It’s just such a fun product that really keeps you safe.

Weak Light and Heavy Metal Clip
These leashes have good handles, but the LED light isn’t strong in the middle of the leash. I thought the light would be more consistent throughout the leash length. The leash clip is heavy and I would not recommend getting for small dogs.

••••Update•••• The battery lasts 10-11 days BUT it don’t recharge, I had it plugged in 12 hour. I added a video of how bright it is, I have a collar and it has a red light at the back that light up when changing. This one doesn’t and I tried 2 nights•••••••Good price, perfect length. Love that it has a spot at the handle to clip the poop bag and my keys on it. I keep the leash on so I can hear if she’s taking offI got a pink leash and it can pink and lights up a reddish pink. Only thing is. There is only 2 spots that lights up, the front and back. So the rest of the leash is not to bright in the middle cause there’s no lightI’d give it a 5 star if the hold leash light up like the top and bottom.
