If you have pets in a tick area, these are a must. Especially if you have deer ticks, these make getting them off so easy & always gets the head out. I initially got the official “Tick Tornado”, however this price and quantity were a great deal!

WORTH IT!!
I ordered this set of tick pullers, along with another set, not expecting much. Boy was I wrong, and so pleasantly surprised!! In the past, I’ve traumatized my dog fighting with flashlights, tweezers, pliers, and other tick pullers…most of the time leaving the poor dog in fear of all of these items, with half a tick dangling, the head still embedded, and with me in tears feeling like a bad dog parent. THESE ARE A GAME CHANGER! The multiple sets and multiple sizes came in clutch on vacation, when another family passing through had 2 dogs and lots of ticks. I just handed them a 3-pack and wished them luck!! I shared a 3-pack with every dog owner in my extended family. I keep some in the first aid kit, camping box, and in my car.Even if you’re not super steady in the hand, or if you don’t have good bite visualization, or can’t get the hairs to all part away from the bite, these little miracles make pulling intact ticks clean out without hair pulling, messes, or trauma. Every night on vacation in a tick-prone area, I’d pet and rub the dog down. When I found a tick, I could just slide this down under the body and pull straight out, kind of slowly but firmly, and the dog didn’t even care. (Make dang sure you either SMASH and explode the ticks, or have a surefire way to contain them, because they come out intact and fully alive/functional, and they WILL quickly crawl away and locate a new host location!!)Apparently different species of ticks in different locations are all different sizes. Also, depending on how long they’ve been attached, their actively-feeding size may require a larger tick puller. So having an assortment is amazing!!If you have a pet, you need these. If you live in an area with ticks, you need this. If you have hunters, campers, kids, or anyone in your family who ever spends time outside, you need these.

Good tick pullers!
While I prefer the type that looks like a little spoon with a V cut in it, these work as well, with the added benefit you get a ton of them! I have some in the camper, junk drawer, car, etc. I wish they weren’t so easy to lose and it would be nice if they had some kind of hole in them for mounting. I didn’t see much use for the different sizes, but they all seem to work good. It’s a LOT better than the tweezers some so-called professionals recommend. I never understood how it was a good thing to squeeze the tick, forcing possibly-infected blood back into you, while ripping the tick to pieces and leave the head in. This just pulls the tick out without trauma or drama.

When these first came onto amazon a few years ago, I paid 10.00 for one pack of three. They worked great. I wondered if these which cost 1/15 of what those did, would be as well finished since they have to be pretty precise to get the ticks. When they arrived, I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. They are just as high of quality as the ones I got several years ago. Definitely recommend.

These little pics seem like a good idea in theory, and this package provides lots, but all I ever did for a tick was use tweezers. These were too fiddly.
