Picking and choosing –
One of the best sleeper gifts I didn’t expect…
These bags are well made. My mom got my sister and I a pair 10+years ago, and I am still using mine old one- but even though they are super light & strong (parachute-like fabric that really holds up and the seams are good), I somehow punctured my old one (so this is it’s replacement- I gifted myself.) They fold tiny into their own inside pocket (which is a great place to put keys and small items when it is out in it’s big version, and can go into luggage for when you arrive and want to have a day pack, or if you want to go to a corner store and pick up a bag’s worth of groceries. I have adventured with it. I LOVE IT. Took it with me to Guatamala, Ecuador, and the US wherever I go. The zippers are good- they never get stuck and always open smoothly (you may want a small carbineer/clamp to keep them together if you are running through a busy airport (did that recently). They fit more than you’d think they would. I personally like the understated look and it can be colorful if you want, or more neutral. My old one was bright blue with a yellow trim. I looked for that again, but I didn’t find it, and I am perfectly happy with the more muted color. I am a big fan of the brand and bought the packing cubes- can’t wait to try those out!

For the cost it’s amazing!!! Used on our cruise. Pack light. Pockets everywhere, light, small to pack, good space when open. Good material. I def recommend. Straps leave much to be desired but it packs small which is of higher value to me

A true go to when keeping it small!
So far, so good. I bought this as an occasional day pack while traveling abroad. In testing post purchase, I took it on two long day hikes this past weekend and absolutely love it. It fits well at my height of 5-11, rides well with a moderate load of 5 to 8 pound to include lunch for two, water and some basic essentials and rain jackets. No problem. I bought the 20L first, but after receiving it decided on the larger pack for my needs.I kept the 20L for my wife who has a smaller profile. The 20L it fit just a little to small on my back.I like the pocket lay out on the 30L, The weather resistant sleeve pocket is good as is the exterior pocket. The compression strap and tie downs over the exterior water bottle sleeve are a big plus in my view. I was able to stash my collapsible walking poles in them and synched them tight… The sternum strap helped keep it all close when boulder hoping as well.And these packs both fold right down into the small stuff pocket it came out of, without a struggle. I can carry these in ones bellow pockets on field pant or shorts. They are well made, strong and versatile. Good zippers to. I can see me using these on quite a few treks while traveling abroad and leaving my heavy day packs at home.I first bought a Gonex product in the Luggage line and really like it. Now, I’ve tried these day packs and feel I made a good purchase with both. Quality, material and price drive my purchase. I scrutinized them all, and like this line so far. Great for travel
Great backpack and water resistant. Folds up very small for travel the same pocket that folds up the backpack also serves as an internal extra storage pocket. The outside pocket (back side) of the backpack is lined with plastic in the pocket, making it great for documents that should not get wet. Purchased for a cruise to use on excursions and it held it well. Extremely lightweight, which made the load light when filled with wet towels post beach excursion.

Handy little packable backpack!
Very handy little lighweight packable backpack for travel. It’s very convenient and easy to pack. We take it along everywhere when we travel or even at home and it stores away in itself. Came in very handy when we traveled to Alaska. Stored our umbrella, water, and other items when shopping. Highly recommend it if you like to travel.

Close to perfect!
So close to perfect… one thing is the unnecessary huge logo. The other is that the privacy pocket that is right against your back as you wear it is basically a massive hidden pocket made of plastic (while the rest of the backpack is made of the breathable nylon material), so that space on your back just sweats the entire time. Such a strange choice when everything else about this backpack is so great. That being said, I took it to Europe for 4 weeks and used on day excursions and it held up really well.
