Works as promised. It is impressively solidly built. It makes no noise or vibration. The stainless steel dish seems to be fine in the dishwasher, no issues.Very fast/easy app setup. For daily use, the app design is not perfectly intuitive. Changing schedules takes some practice.Biggest concern is my 6 lb. cat seems to struggle with the shape or height of the feeding chamber. I’m not sure yet if she’ll adjust. She has no problem eating out of the other kind of timed feeder – CatMate – where there is an ice pack underneath but has a more rectangular food tray.I plan to get a second cat, so I intend to keep trying with her and also save it for our future kitty.My real goal is once I have 2 cats, to buy 2 microchip feeders for their wet food, but those are so pricey so that will have to wait.Very pleased with what PetLibro has done with the design of this, the connectivity, and especially for this price point. Would recommend.

excellent feeder
Amazing machine. Went with this rather than the ones that use ice for keeping the food cold. I ended up getting 3 of them and setting the feeding times for 3 different times during the day. I have 5 feral cats that come at random times so this works out well. They have been outside (covered porch) for 5 weeks now and are working perfectly. They are easy to clean and refill and the setup was simple, tho the wifi connection did take a few minutes. The battery backup is helpful as I have had a power outage for almost a day and when the power came back on not only did the feeders function during the outage, but they resumed the program perfectly. I would highly recommend this feeder for anyone who needs to have food for your small cat/dog while you are gone for a day or 3, or as me, help the feral cat population during the winter. Oh, i put 1/2 a 5.5oz can in each section. you could probably get a bit more in, but that seems about the amount to keep it from going over the fill mark.

(Updated) Day One and Very Happy
Update #3 – it died like so many others have, won’t stop spinning, no fixes, no solutions. This is a product design issue that apparently came up after they added the stainless tray which causes more condensation. I’ve been vigilant about wiping mine out every time I remove the tray but ice still forms in the square spot and when I let it partially thaw to remove it, it must have been too much for it. Be aware it was not much moisture at all that killed this thing. The condensation will form no matter what you do an it will eventually get too wet and fail. I saw where someone was told they’re working on a design fix but I’m afraid that will take some time and in the meantime these are dying like crazy. I don’t think the plastic tray is a better option either because it doesn’t keep the food as cold, and even the stainless is barely cold enough. So disappointing.Update #2: Did a trial run and my small, older cat who is not a big eater and under 10 lbs was able to finish off all the food in approximately 24 hours. Be aware there is no way an average cat could go much longer without another feeder of some sort. Since I was hoping for it to work for overnight only I’m still very happy with the product.Update #1: Still getting the hang of setting schedule but overall remain happy with product. One thing to note – it says this is good for 72 hours but there’s no way it holds enough food for an average cat for that long. The dish areas are not particularly large so I don’t feel like it would feed my cat enough but for maybe 24 hours and I have a small cat. I do feel like it’s going to be perfect for overnight trips and it’s definitely helping with keeping his wet food fresh on a daily basis.This is day one so will try to update my review but so far so good! Set up was easy, still learning app but immediately was able to set an initial schedule and it was gone through two feedings without any issues. Kitty had no interest during feeding one but figured out what it was by feeding two a few hours later. This could be a game changer for someone with a cat that exclusively eats wet food and is also a very slow eater. Keeping his food chilled is a huge help.

High Quality, Tall Design Not Ideal
This automatic cat feeder is excellent quality and very easy to use. It offers a range of features that you won’t find in many other feeders, especially the individual compartments. Since my cat needs daily medication, this feature has been essential for us.One thing I wish existed is a Bluetooth version with the same compartment style but without the cooling aspect, so it could be used strictly for dry food.The only downside for me personally is that my cat really dislikes how tall this feeder is. He’s used to eating from a simple bowl on the floor, and even after a month of trying to train him, he still resists eating from it. Sometimes he’d rather skip a meal than use it. That’s not a reflection of the feeder’s quality—because it’s very well-made—but the design height just isn’t ideal for him.Overall, I think it’s a high-quality, feature-rich feeder that works especially well for cats who need medications or measured portions.

I like how you can regulate how much food you give your pet and how many feedings per day. It’s very practical when you have to leave them for a day or two. I don’t use the voice message, as it scared my cat, but it’s a cool feature. I have had it for around a year, and it’s still working great.

This is the third automatic feeder I’ve gotten. The last two were the circle ones that rotated at certain times. My cat managed to hack both of them so had given up on feeders. Decided to splurge a bit as my cat binge eats and throws up and is overweight. Been great not to have to worry about the portions and remembering to feed him 4x a day. The voice recording was fun for my kid to do, a bonus. So far, cat hasn’t been able to get in so far and holds a lot of kibble. Also great that even with the low food indicator on, it continues to dispense food!

Was really reluctant to get one of these, because my cat is a bit of a scaredy cat and doesn’t like change…and gets a bit spooked when you do change things up. 2 reasons for getting this a) portion control and b) so that I can go away for a couple of days. This unit accomplished both. Instructions for set up could have been a little clearer in my opinion. It’s a neat looking little unit…and works like a charm. I am wondering if you can purchase new dishes for the feeder so that you can clean and rotate them – just nice to have an extra. The blue light flashes turns to a flashing red light when the feeder is low on food. There are batteries for backup in case there is a power outage. I am delighted that my fur ball is getting his daily quota and he’s ok when I go away. Very happy and recommend!
