These suspended booties work really well for my dog and stayed on!
Ok. I know there were other negative reviews but I bought them anyway because we’re on a roadtrip into New England and my dog’s paws have been through a lot with the harsher snow melt. I was honestly surprised they worked so well. They were easier to put on her than I expected and much better than the tight balloon booties I use now. Every year I try a different type and none stay on. For reference, my dog is a lab mix at almost 70lbs. I ordered the extra large (ignore the dog type references and just go with a little extra after measuring paw size. She did get snow in her front legs bc we she ran with them in a foot deep snow but that was to be expected. Just check the legs if your dog isn’t for long or in deep snow. Normally I would use these where there is harsh snow melt but I will use these regularly since it’s bitter cold here.

Doesn’t work right
These don’t work. The straps slide off, dog can slip right out. Restricting. Just all around no good

Unique design for a difficult application
Having dog booties on a dog is a tricky business. I have tried various booties with not much success. Most come off easily, get lost, and usually not waterproof. While the entire setup of these suspender boots requires making sure you have then set up right, they did go on easily and have Velcro straps near the paws to adjust the fit. All of the straps have adjuster to maximize the fit for different dog sizes. I got the M/L for my Corgi and it adjusted to fit perfectly. With the straps attached to the boots, even if one boot comes off, you won’t be searching for it in the snow. No dog boots are perfect but, with this unique suspender design, these give you a fighting chance of keeping your dogs paws dry and not slipping. I gave this 5 stars not because they are perfect but because they are the best I have tried. If your dog does not want to wear them, they will be able to get them off.

Better design, not stylish enough for my dog
I’ve tried other boots on my dog. She’s a poodle mix so the hair in and around her paws get long. When she goes out during the winter, she comes back with giant snow balls attached to her. I thought boots would help. She didn’t like the other boots and she was able to remove them very easily. She’s not able to remove these boots. But she’s not interested in wearing these either. I think she thinks they make her look fat and that all of the other dogs will make fun of her. They seem to fit nicely. The boots are too restrictive around her feet and the velcro straps mean I can get them fairly snug.Getting them on wasn’t a problem. I got the M/L and I would say it’s the perfect size. But my dog won’t walk when she has them on. I tried to encourage her with a treat. But she wouldn’t budge from the spot where I put them on. In the picture you can see that she’s just a couple of steps away from her favorite treat and she won’t make eye contact with me, or smile when I take her picture.
