Like many others, the first one I bought was too small. I could not get it to comfortably fit on my dog. But I just gave myself time to return it and buy a size up, and that worked for me. I also am disappointed that it doesn’t come with an ice pack.It fits my dog relatively well. It’s hard to change the length of the straps so it’s a little big on him now because I can’t change that easily. I also don’t love how much the water pools at the bottom piece on his chest. It seems uncomfortable to walk for him sometimes.However, it doesn’t seem to dry super fast and does keep him cool so we still regularly use it

Would’ve loved to be able to use but the size chart is wayyyyy offf I got a Large because my dog is a Large and this vest large is smedium. It’s looks good in color but I have to give it a 1 star because they’re sizing chart for this product is wayyyyyy off

Keeps my dog cool!
Short-snouted dogs have trouble breathing in hot weather. This cool vest works great to keep my 40lb pitbull cool in 85-degree weather. Easy to use, just soak in a sink or spray with a garden hose, and slip it on the dog. Liked the larger front leg opening as others were too small for a pitbull’s wider shoulder area and actually restricted leg movement. The only drawback is that it is too short to cover the back half of her body. Works like it’s supposed to and easy to clean.

I was a skeptic!
I was shopping for a white T-shirt for my dark colored dog, to keep her protected from this hot Texas sun. I was skeptical about this type of cooling product, because I knew that dogs do not perspire through their skin, but rather keep cool by panting. We have been on three walks now with this cooling vest, and it really seems to work. When we get home, she is no longer collapsing on the floor and panting hard. She also seems to have more energy and does not make me pull her along as she gets hot. I can feel that her fur stays cool under the vest compared to the rest of her. She doesn’t love wearing it, but since she wears a harness on other days, it’s not a huge issue once we get started.

Weak stitching
Bought the XL for my Labrador, 75 lbs. Fit was great. The neck is not adjustable, though it was just right for my dog. Chest fit just right with minor adjustment.Where the leash attaches to the vest ripped off on my first walk. I don’t think it’s stitched together in a manner that will prevent a large dog from ripping it in an emergency situation (another dog, sudden appearance of a car, etc.)I still want the product for other features, but unfortunately I will be using it in tandem with a no-pull harness I already own.

Does not fit as expected.
Overall, the quality is very good. The buckles could be of better quality and it’s quite heavy before even getting it wet. Our issue is that it did not fit in spite of the fact that I measured my dog 3 times. She’s a broad chested Staffordshire, so I was especially careful measuring. Not only is it too tight around her chest, it is too short overall. Unfortunately, I didn’t try it right away. Now I’m stuck with a fairly expensive item (there are simpler, cheaper ones available) that we can’t use.

Keeping my dog cooler in RV Life
So far so good with this product. We do RV Life with a dog. And while the pup is quite easy going, I found myself wanting to do more to make me feel like she was being kept as cool as possible. I use multiple products that keep the RV comfortable, as well as monitor the temperature even if I am out of the RV but this cooler vest is just an added precaution that has worked out well.I am able to put in a couple of thin ice packs in the sleeve. The sleeve is on her back and the pup can’t quite reach it, but it the interior pouch the holds the ice packs sits on a good spot on her back to help keep her cool for hours.
