Does what it’s supposed to do
I knit and crochet… And I constantly misplace my counters, so I grabbed this set and I’m really glad I did. Getting five of them for this price feels like a great deal. They’re sturdy and easy to use, and having extras means I’m never hunting around the house trying to find one when I need it. I like that they’re all the same style too, so I can just grab one and go.Easy to use. One button to count, the other to reset. Simple. If you lose your counters as much as I do, this set is super handy and worth every penny.

Functions very well for counting stitches! 🧶
I ordered these little finger counters to help me count stitches in my crochet projects, and they do the job quite well! There are only two buttons, one to count, and the other to reset back to zero, so it is very easy to use… but dare I say TOO easy?In regards to the counting button, I’ve accidentally double-pressed it while counting (adding two, instead of one), because sometimes the unit goes into sleep mode. The sleep mode is nice because it saves the battery, but the inactivity time interval required to pass between usage and sleep is very short, (I haven’t timed it, but it seems like it is 1-2 minutes.). So if it’s gone to sleep, it requires one press to wake it up, and then one press to begin counting again from where you left off. So you can see how you might accidentally work in a double-count if you aren’t paying close attention, and thought the counter was asleep. Otherwise, the counting accuracy is spot-on.The other trouble spot is the reset button. It does the job, but all it takes is one press, so it is a little too easy to accidentally wipe out your count if you are in the middle of something. It would be better if it required a double press or a looong press-and-hold to reset the counter to zero. If you are moving your knitting/crochet around in a work bag, I would worry about accidentally resetting the counter. The look of the counter is sleek, and the colors available are a mix of neutral and colorful. The attached clear band used to wrap the counter around your finger is fully adjustable, but it can still be too loose if you have small fingers (or are a child). It would be better if the strap were Velcro in that regard. The plastic also has a very strong, nasty chemical smell.Overall a great product, it just needs a couple performance tweaks. 4 stars.

Excellent little plastic finger counters, great price, easy to use
Excellent little tally counters at a great value price. There isn’t anything extra special or flashy about them, but they work well at a superb price. Fairly average construction for a small electronic counter. The finger strap is easy to adjust and is comfortable. These are functional little counters that work very well. Five for this price is excellent and if you need this kind of counter, these are for you. They do have batteries, so if you use them a lot you may have to replace the battery (not a tough job). They don’t appear to be hardened, so I’d keep them dry and not abuse them very much – these aren’t rugged, and at this price you shouldn’t expect them to be.Very functional, work as described, and at a great price. The different colors are nice, but how they work is what counts. (no pun intended). Plastic construction, battery operated, count & reset buttons – simple operation.

Cute and functional
I got these to use for activities in my classroom. They’re just the right size for my hand and the kids’smaller hands. I like that they can be set up for many different things. They have been quite helpful in the classroom. The kids adore them, especially the array of nice colors. They work as intended and were easy to set up and use. Getting five units for this low price is a steal. I like them a lot and will be using them often.

Keeping golfers honest!
I’m excited to use this on the golf course. It’s easy for any golfer to “accidentally” forget a stroke here and there. We got these as a gag gift, yet useful gift, for a group of golfers I play with. The counter, itself, is much smaller than you’d expect. I could barely wrap the band around one of my fingers (not that you should). It felt good in my hand, and was able to easily press the button to reset, as well as the larger button to keep count.

Simple, good for when you’re working at home, but no way to lock/save progress and prevent resetting
I got these for me and my kids (the ones who crochet) for keeping track of stitches or rows when we’re doing patterns where we really do need to count like this (like not a giant blanket with no set pattern).I like that there’s not a buckle on the ring strap – just little nubbins that push into holes and use friction to stay.I tested one out so far, but I’m assuming all 5 will work. Works fine to count, but I do have a few wishes / improvements I would really prefer to be implemented.I wish these made it harder to reset. the reset button (although smaller and harder to accidentally press) is RIGHT next to the count button. I’m so worried I will accidentally reset when I don’t mean to!I also would like these to have a “lock” feature that’s a little switch somewhere, like on the top. If I’m taking a project with me, I need to know that by throwing the counter in the project bag, it’s not going to start counting imaginary rows or reset itself.I also would like a tiny bit of audio feedback to let me know that the count registered. That way when I’m working on a project, I don’t need to watch the number “tick up” to be sure that my button-press actually counted the counter (and counted once, not accidenatlly twice, etc). A switch to turn on an optional quiet beep or ding or something would be ideal. These will work for now, but they are very simple and would be ineffective or too “dangerous” in certain situations – like taking somewhere in a project bag.
