Works very well! We live in the country, and this item does track ol’Red’s location. Instructions were helpful, had it up and working in no time(pretty good for this sr. Citizen). She had go all over the back pasture and I can find her. Customer service was very helpful and so courteous!

I have used it for a few weeks now and I am very happy. Works great, very accurate. I use it on my off leash walks with my dogs who like to chase Deer and animals. It makes knowing where they are and how far away simple. I love this, its worth the money.

Not for a pair of roughhousing dogs
I live in a rural area with spotty cell phone service so some tracking systems have issues with being unable to get a signal.The directions for this device are well written but as a technophobe I found the setup to be a bit of a challenge, and not as easy as the advertisement made it appear. It did work as described and over a pretty good distance even under a forest canopy. Standing next to a barn caused it to be inaccurate. It did not have pinpoint accuracy so finding a hiding cat or a lost device might be a challenge even with the audio or light setting.The reason this will rarely work for me is it’s fragility. I have 2 large roughhousing dogs that yank and gnaw on each other’s collars. This wouldn’t last 2 minutes, but it is light and small enough that a collar-wearing cat might not object. Since I had a cat strangle with a collar once, I would use a breakaway collar and would likely have to track down the missing device and collar. For an only dog that roams free or bolts, this should work well without the relatively expensive monthly subscription other devices have.

This outdoor GPS dog tracker has been amazing for our homestead! Reliable in Remote Areas
I live in a rural area, and my dog loves exploring outdoors,but it often didn’t work in areas with poor signal, which was really stressful. This tracker completely solved this problem. It works offline, doesn’t require any phone app,very easy to use. It’s lightweight, so my dog wears it comfortably, and the tracking is accurate even in remote locations. I feel much more at ease taking my dog on walks or hikes now. Highly recommended!
