Fish food of champions!
This is really great fish food, that’s why it’s not just part of my subscription, but I purposely get more than I need each time just in case there’s ever a stock shortage because I wouldn’t want my daughter’s fish to be without it!It’s the perfect compact size for most to eat and for those with a smaller mouth—after they sink they swell from water absorption and become malleable…even for the smallest mouths! The color is brown, but fish don’t have any trouble seeking it out! The shrimp ingredient is great for catfish and her rope fish absolutely love them! However, surprisingly enough to me…her goldfish also love it! They prefer it over goldfish pellets, flakes and everything else I’ve tried them on…this stuff is the food of champions for fish!

My catfish love this and can chew it easily!
These are good pellets! I’ve been buying these for months for my 4 lined pictus catfish and my lace catfish and they love it! The quality is great and they can chew it easily.

My eel and loach really enjoy these pellets
My eel and loach love the Aqueon Shrimp Pellets! They sink quickly, making it easy for bottom feeders to get their share. The pellets have a stronger smell than some other foods, but it’s not overwhelming or unpleasant. They are small in size, which is perfect for bottom feeding animals.Overall, a great choice if you have bottom-dwelling fish or aquatic pets that enjoy shrimp-based food. Would definitely recommend, it is a great price for the value.

fish like it, just a little too big
I have three cory catfish that are constantly working the bottom of my tank and I am sometimes concerned that there may not be food getting to them.I bought these to drop in a few times a week just to make sure they have enough. The fish definitely like them and will eat them pretty fast. They sink immediately 80% of the time. I have a strong current so they never end up where I want them but the fish find them eventually. The floaters eventually sink and get eaten. What I do not like is these are too big to be eaten immediately. They take at least 15 minutes to absorb water and soften. They eventually get eaten but the catfish tend to push them into the gravel when they first fall and can’t be eaten right away.Other than some float and they are too big to eat by small cory cats immediately, they do the job of making sure the cats have food to eat.The jar is huge and was priced fairly. That is a bonus. If it expires ill take it to the lake when I fish and use it as chum. Bass, bluegill and chanel catfish will like it too.

Pellets drop, pleco snaps—peace gone, chaos fed.
Dropped one in. My pleco emerged like a submarine on a snack mission. He bulldozed a snail, ignored gravity, and suctioned that pellet like it owed him rent. The tank’s now a crime scene—algae untouched, shrimp traumatized, pleco victorious. These pellets don’t just sink… they summon. 10/10 would fuel the chaos again.

Unfortunately for the bottom feeders, the pellets don’t sink right away and the rest of the fish seem to be playing soccer with them. All our fish love them.

In my aquarium I have two Reed Fish / Rope fish , they are fussy with dry foods and prefer live or frozen , other fish Jack Dempsey and Four line Pim also gorge on live / frozen as well as my staple , my staple is NLS – Thera- A but the reed never eat it , but they love these pellets and it allows me to feed live once a week and have the ease of feeding pellets , these float for a bit and then sink so are useful for fish higher in the water column, recommended .

I’ve used this for a few years now and my fish love them. My loaches go crazy for them the second they hit the ground. I recommended my mom to try them for her fish too and she said she was amazed at their reaction and her fish clearly enjoyed them as well. They breakdown as the fish eat them but keep their shape till they get munched on. I don’t find they cloud the water all and the ease of breakdown allows the fish to eat them without needing to swallow them whole which could be difficult for some fish since they are a decent sized pellet.
