Best cat brush I’ve ever used for shorthair cats
I’ve used a lot of cat brushes over the years but this one surprised me with how well it worked. Honestly I think it’s the best one I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot of the fancier ones. My cat loves it, it picks up a ton of fur (as much as my old furminator brush), and the button you push to release the hair to throw it away actually works perfectly. I’ve never owned a cat brush that was this easy to clean. Highly recommend for short haired cats. I don’t own any long haired ones so I can’t speak to that.

Wow, this is a great product!
I’ve had many pet brushes over the years, even for horses, and I’ve never been immediately wowed by the performance of any until this brush. Lately, my cats have been shedding their winter coats, and I’ve struggled several times per day to gently brush as much of their loose fur as possible from them. My long-haired cat, seemingly with a double coat, has presented an enormous challenge due to the great deal of daily shedding and the extremely thin hair diameter that is very electrostatic when brushed. It gets everywhere, including finding its way to my nose and mouth, making me run for any type of tape to remove it before I inhale it. The cat has been suffering from my inability to keep up with it, even with me lately resorting to using a lot of masking tape like a lint roller to get the nearly invisible fur off after being brushed. When this new brush arrived, I quickly removed it from the package and was so very happy to see that it performs just as described, and the wires have small but effective tips that protect the pets from sharp wire ends, although care must still be exercised during use since the tips are small enough that they can hurt the pet if overly pressed, especially at a sharp angle.Pressing the button causes the disc to move the brushed hair mat to the ends of the wires, resulting in a mass that is easily peeled off and away from the brush. I’ve used this maybe a dozen times or more in the two days I’ve had it, and it’s wonderful! I also learned that I can wet my hands and rub the cats, then use the brush with even more efficacy due to the slight increase in damp fur traction, and that also reduces flyaway fur before and after the brushing. (I also learned that I can then scrub my hands under a stream of water and the long fur rolls off in “strings.”) My cats are quickly adjusting to the brush, partly because I’m careful not to over use it on them at one time, and also because the safety tips on the wires are less painful than the undercoat comb I had been using. The handle is a little long, which can result in problems when downward brush strokes are stopped by the floor or table surface, but the oval shape of the brush head allows me to turn it sideways and used the narrow ends to brush their chest almost between their front legs and almost between their back legs, cautiously, in a rolling motion.I love this product!

This is the 3rd brush I got my cat. The first 2 type of brush I bought was hated by them. One was they get tickled and the 2nd was too wide spaces so it can’t collect more hair. This one is the best so far, they do not mind me brushing them and it collects the hair so well. Plus the item looks so durable and highend, it actuallu resembles the petkit brush.
