perfect for small dog post neuter/spay
i love it. i got a medium for my 10mo 14lb puppy (11” neck) for after his neuter and it’s worked well. he could get close to the incision but not quite there. just keep an eye on your dog the first few days just in case. everyone i ran into loved it, made everyone’s day! he looked super cute, 10x better than a cone!

A comfy alternative for a scaredy-dog
It fit my 27lbs cocker spaniel/cavalier mix perfectly, and kept her stitches on her hind leg well protected. She could reach her feet so I definitely wouldn’t recommend this if you need their feet out of reach, but it was great for her needs. Much more comfortable and less frightening for her than the giant plastic cone that scared her every time she knocked into something. She loved using it as a pillow all day. I never had any issues with stuffing coming out, though she didn’t really scratch or bite at it. It stayed on well unless she really tried hard to get out of it, which she rarely did since it was comfortable and not in her way and she could easily eat and drink wearing it.

He actually likes it!!!
This little guy is scared to death of EVERYTHING, he came from a not so great situation. I knew a regular cone was going to be traumatic after his upcoming procedure so thought we’d give this a try because it’s so cute. He seems to not mind having it on at all. It’s really squishy soft and doubles as a pillow when they lay down. He is able to eat and drink without issues. He could play without bouncing off of things. I wasn’t positive on the size however the large is a perfect fit even for his 13″ neck (23lbs pembroke/cardigan corgi mix) I wanted the largest outer circumference because he’s so long. The pull string makes it very simple to put on and adjust without having to have it tight around their neck, just tight enough to not slip off of their head. For us it is definitely worth the money to not add another traumatic experience to get over!!

Good if used gently
Pretty good. I accidentally ripped it, but if used as intended, will do the job. My foster was not able to get out of it or damage it. It was comfortable for her and she could not reach her stitches.She abruptly tried to lunge out of the car and I grabbed this collar and it ripped. If she’d had her regular collar and/or leash on this one would have been fine.

Just perfect! My pup had surgery and I was dreading the cone so I bought this. It is super light weight and appearently comfortable for my dog. He never tried to take it off. And it is so cute.

Cute but not practical
It fit on my mothers American bulldog but did not stay on. Pulled it as tight as we could and the dog was able to roll on her back and use her feet to kick it off. The dog was able to use it as a pillow to lay her head on

Comfort and safety.
My puppy had her spay procedure and I bought a variety of recovery collars to help prevent her from reaching her incision site. This pillow turned out to be the best thing I brought for her! Where most neck donuts are inflatable, this is a soft cushion similar to a bean bag chair texture and can be molded to some degree, allowing her to get comfortable, still reach her lady parts to groom, but she is unable to reach her stitches. The cushion seems to have chambers so that the moldable material doesn’t all go to one side or the other. Love it!

Ineffective as a deterrent.
Cute and seems well made. However that is where its effectiveness ends. My cat has sores on two of his feet (one front and one rear). I used the measurement chart and sized-up one size hoping it would increase the projection (distance from nose to edge of the collar). It did not, the width of the collar is very shallow. Maybe four inches. For a larger collar both the neck and projection needs to increase. I wouldn’t trust this collar to keep a determined animal away from wounds. Certainly it wont work for leg and tail injuries.Sending it back and continuing my search.

So much better than the plastic cones! The Medium fits her really well. The fastener is a good idea if it’s a bit loose. Just like a travel pillow but for dogs!

Based on reviews I was unsure how good this would be but we are satisfied. My toy poodle is prone to skin rashes which plastic cone collars aggravate and cause too much humidity allowing bad bacteria. This collar was perfect for her in preventing her to reach her surgical site on her back legs and it didn’t aggravate her skin. However – if your dog licks its paws too much this collar wont really prevent that. Our toy poodle is 4kg and the small was good for her. We had to tighten it fully but it was still comfortable and a size down would not have prevented her accessing the wound. The cons of the product is that it can get dirty easily and touch ground when dogs sniff or prevent them from going upstairs. Otherwise it’s very joyful and fairly comfortable and I recommend this product
