First off when I think about reviewing this item I think about how it still works and it’s done its job since we ordered it but what outshines that is the customer care with this item. The bulbs are a little different and have to be handled a specific way and the person that sells this item is very approachable helpful and timely not only did they have a quick response when needed they also later did a follow-up to make sure that we were taken care of and that the item works properly doing its job and reassured that if it didn’t I would be taken care of in the best way! The product is awesome and does its job it’s used for our bunnies and they are warm when needed but the customer care was beyond awesome with this item and I have to make note of it because it was that good and helpful but in the best of ways so giving it a five-star review not solely for that reason but it has a lot to do with it the product itself is super awesome too I like that it has two settings and comes with the stuff to hang it with!

Honestly the best customer service I’ve experienced in a while!
We have alot of stray cats in my neighborhood that all of the neighbors (mostly me) look out for and take care of them. Last winter I went through 5 heat lamp bulbs from Walmart before I finally ordered a chicken brooder and that worked so well that I decided to buy another one for this winter and I ordered one from this seller, and I highly recommend this if you have outside animals of any kind for the winter. Unfortunately the one I ordered was probably handled roughly during shipping so I contacted this seller and not only did the first one arrive quick but when I let the seller know of the problem with the original brooder they quickly sent me another! It couldn’t have got here any faster I was impressed and the cats love their cozy warm porch now, it works great and keeps them warm and comfy even on the coldest nights. Great costumer service! Primo product! Fast delivery and overall pleasant shopping experience! Highly recommend and will definitely order from this seller again.

I looked at lots of heating for my chicks, I didn’t want to go with the basic heat lamp. These have worked great and easy to adjust. I like that they have 2 settings. Would highly recommend!

Great for brooders but not so much for coops
I thought they would give off more heat than they do. They’re not real great for a coop but they worked well in the brooder since they have 2 temperature settings. One of the bulbs didn’t work when it was delivered but I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement right away, which was impressive (in my opinion).

Started a fire
The plug started on fire – I mean flames. Could have burned down my whole darn barn. I had only used it one night and went to flip switch for next evening and sparked and then flames. Burnt the plug.

Works well for coop
I received the lamp and I immediately tried to set it up but the bulb was defective. It is not broken but inside the bulb itself are loose pieces. Thankfully I had a replacement bulb from a previous lamp I had purchased. I tried to request a replacement for the bulb but it only lets me return the product and I need the lamp since it is cold outside. Overall it works well and the chicks love the heat.

Easy to assemble and handle due to small size.
This is a nice lamp because it’s small and not heavy to handle. For some reason I received two, maybe I ordered 2 by mistake. But I’m glad because it’s not a long unit. And I can use it in two separate areas.
