Amazing litter box
Great quality and makes cleaning the litter box a much easier task. The gray top piece is a very durable molded hard plastic.This is a 3 tray system, which is convenient. The sifter tray goes on top of a solid litter pan tray. Clean litter is poured over the sifter.To clean you lift the sifter pan, sift litter into the solid pan below tray. After discarding the waste, you put the sifter into the other litter tray and pour the sifted litter on top of the sifter tray.I had trouble separating the two litter pans for cleaning. They are the same size. I cut pieces of cardboard and placed 2 layer of cardboard between the two solid pans. This creates a gap for your fingers making the pans easy to separate.I highly recommend this litter box.

Nice large litterbox
Honestly, its a really nice litter box. It is big – that is both good and bad. There is plenty of room for all of my cats to use it, but the large size also makes it heavy and it is cumbersome to actually lift it, sift it, dump the waste, then dump the litter into the other container. It is quicker and easier to just scoop it. I still like it and I will keep it, but if it was a little smaller it would be easier to handle.

Solid pans are difficult to separate.
Like the stainless, hate the cleaning. Finding it very difficult to separate the strainer and middle pan from the 3rd ( base pan. The two solid pans fit so snug together it’s like they are glued together. May just not keep the 3rd solid pan together with the set until needed. Sucks now have to find place to store the extra pan.
