More heavy duty than others yet light enough to be comfortable
Nice item! More heavy duty ,breathable, and better fit than anything else we’d found thus far.We have a Blue Healer (Australian cattle dog) that is high energy. Related to the Dingo, he hunts ground varmints , leaving him traveling through tall grass, underbrush and burdocks. Everything sticks! LOVE this material. Burdocks attach to nearly everything, but I believe the rest of the foliage will not stick to this vest…maybe not burdocks either. HOPE.Hi-visibility orange and reflective stripes will keep our blue-black modeled dog from being mistaken for a coyote. I bought a large size and it fits just as shown in picture above. Just got it. So far, so good.

A very good vest
This is a high quality vest. It’s lightweight but the fabric seems sturdy and has not torn or snagged on branches, thorns, etc. while running through the woods. It’s also very reflective from a far distance with only a headlamp shining towards it. The sizing may be a little big.

Size is off, quality is good
My dog from base of neck to base of tail is 19″ he has a muscular body (Amstaff bully) so I had to get the L size that says 21″ down the back.Well I put it on him and the neck is too big so I synched that up tight and the jacket length wise is perfect. So not sure how that works but it worked.The material feels almost like those plastic modern tent fabrics. It’s light weight and feels pretty water proof. I used it for hunting and sprayed Sawyer Permethrin on the outside. Surprisingly it didn’t bead up which is great.If you have a healthy (not over weight) Amstaff maybe try one size smaller. If it is an XL Bully then maybe the L will be perfect. Mine is not an XL.Orange is vibrant and matches my hunting clothes. No way to mistake it for a deer!I’m using this vest only for hunting. It helps in training your dog what to do. They associate specific clothing with specific activities. My dog already has a running backpack, a rain jacket, winter jacket, extreme cold full body winter suit, and now this hunting light weight jacket.They lie though like most companies this does NOT breath. If it was 80+ degrees out I’d consider not doing much physical activities with this jacket on. It breaths as well as most “yellow rain jackets breath.” Don’t believe that lie.

Essential safety item for night walks and back country adventures
My expectations weren’t high for less than $15 – but honestly this thing is really nice quality.The velcro is nice quality and doesn’t snag Reggie’s multiple inches of hair. The fabric and stitching are actually better quality than my hunting highviz vest. The fabric is a nice thick ripstop type material, so while it might be a bit stiff, it’s pretty slick – no signs of excessive tangles from friction under the fabric after a long walk and I anticipate it won’t snag up in briars easily.The size chart was accurate and the straps are made in a way this is very adjustable. Reggie is wearing an XL in the photos – I think if he were any smaller it would have been too big – I have the straps adjusted down as small as they will go without excess. To he fair, he is very slim and still young (67lb, stands 26″ at the shoulder) so it’s nice to know he can keep wearing it as he fills out a bit more(in fluff and adult musculature).I expect we will lots of use out of it – we take a lot of night walks and go hiking in remote areas. My poodle mutt Reggie completely blends into shadows after dark and some hunters shoot at everything that moves, so a vest like this is critical. I’ll update the review if we run into any issues with more use.

Excellent all around
The fit is perfect, more coverage than our previous vest. The measurements on the chart were spot on for our 85 lb lab. for which we ordered an xl. The material and velcro closures are of very good quality and the reflective portions are extremely visible. We love that it’s water resistant for rain or snow also. It is light weight, nonrestrictive and easy to put on and take off. Great value for the price.

Easy to Put On, Excellent Visibility, Stays On Active Dog
Great to purchase something like this from AMAZON–first vest tore along the reflective strip on the first wearing. Sent out and received a replacement vest in one day before receiving the defective vest. back. I have a very active, 2 year old, 80 lb rescue dog. The size large fits well. I find it easy to put the vest on, visibility when she is wearing it is outstanding. The vest stays securely on the dog during active play–no other vest that I have tried stays on. Excellent value and received quickly. During hunting season wearing this is a must for safety. Very pleased with the purchase. I think I will buy another one for a spare.

Large fits our 70lb German Shepard
Large fits our 70lb German Shepard. Makes it easy to spot her in the woods. Easy on and off. Material seems adequate.Update 1/27/25 The hook and loop material used on the straps is low quality and after 3 months it barely holds any more. The vest belly strap has opened a couple of times. I already installed a snap on the neck strap and now must put one on the belly strap in hopes of getting a few more miles out of it. Not an expensive item but still disappointing.

Wonderful dog Safety vest
A good safety vest tht shows up well in the dark when any type of light source hits it easy to put it on an off my Zeke it seems more comfortable to him considering he not constantly messing with it like it’s not fitting him right which is a huge plus my one complaint would be the way it gets dirty like extremely fast seems like I have to rinse it off daily or it looks like he had it on for days at a time and it’s not like we going hiking down trails we just in the parking lot next door or walking around the block but other than that I’m happy with my purchase

Great hi-vis vest for my dog but it has no hole for a harness. You have to put the harness over the vest.

This fit my 100lbs German Shepard. Great visibility at night with its reflective stripes. Doesn’t shift around when walking. Velcro seems sturdy and not cheap. Good solid material.
