Best Dematting Comb
I had an old version of this type of dematting tool. This one is so much better. Love the two sided comb size. Working really well on my Welsh Springer Spaniel who is forever shedding!

The pile of dog hair is too gross, but you just keep going to see how big of a pile you can get!
I ordered this product after conducting hours of research on grooming my two fur babies, Astro (a 6 1/2-month-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel) and Bailey (an 8 1/2-month-old Golden Cockapoo, also known as a Cockapoodledoo). These are both supposed to be low-shedding to no-shedding dogs. I got several quotes from groomers when we first got them, and the price was upwards of $200 per dog! Two weeks after getting them, I broke my right. ankle, followed by my left ankle, 3 weeks later. God was trying to tell me that I can do this grooming thing on my own if I just find the right tools. I looked at what professional groomers, breeders of my type of puppies, trainers, and reviews from all over the internet said about products they bought and tried out at home, and I got busy ordering my grooming 101 kit that I could do from home with limited help (2 broken and repaired with surgery ankles with one still non weight bearing) to keep my sweet pups looking super cute. I don’t want anyone to think that I went to the Grooming House of Horrors @ my house after I am done. How embarrassing would that be to have to have my son or my hubby walk Astro and Bailey around the neighborhood looking like they were butchered!!! The Go Pets Deshedding & Dematting Comb/Brush to get out the undercoat works like magic! It gets so much of that undercoat out that you didn’t realize was growing under the radar. No wonder these guys sometimes itch. They are trying to get rid of that extra “coat” that they are wearing in the 90-degree heat with 100% humidity in Charleston, SC Bailey loves it and wants me to brush her with the Go Pet, which I willingly did for about 45 minutes yesterday when it arrived at my doorstep. Astro was a little hesitant, as normal, of the Go Pet Deshedding tool, but he eventually let me use it on him with no problems. I got tons of fine hair all over their bodies, which would normally become matted over time. I was able to get all over their bodies in all the nooks and crannies, even on Bailey’s face, without it hurting them. I can’t imagine how much hair you could get from a breed that does shed. The only “con” I could possibly come up with is that there are no clear directions for specific use. You just have to try it out and see what works. You do want to hold your dog’s coat above where you are brushing, just so it glides a little easier through the fur.

Favorite dog brush
Love this brush! I bought it over 5 years ago and have used this on 2 German Shepherd (Shedders) Dogs. Still my favorite brush of all time. So easy to clean and effective for all those big fluffs of hair.

Quality brush
This brush is so convenient to clean! It makes my cats coat nice and soft and they love the feeling of being brushed with it. I think it gently stimulates their skin as it removes the excess hair so it doesn’t end up in their stomachs from grooming themselves. Just don’t brush your pet hard cause the bristles are stimulating.

Works great for long haired cats
This product works great for long haired cats that can experience matting or need grooming often. The two sides have different brush sizes & both are sharp enough to make excess fur removal easy in different spots and on different breeds all while feeling better for your furry companions because it safely trims underneath instead of only pulling like brushing/combing. The handle is also fantastic; using a gel like grip that forms to hand nicely aiding in ease of use

Works great at collecting fur from both my long-haired cat and my short-haired dog. Doesn’t get the mats out of my cat, but I attribute that more to her long, fine fur than I do the brush (my previous, similar brush didn’t do a thing for mats, either; scissors are the only way to remove them). The fur-eject feature is nice, though not really necessary; it’s pretty easy to pull hair off a brush. But overall the brush works well, the handle is squishy-comfy, and I’d definitely recommend this product if you need a brush for your furry friend.
