Very active toy, couple steps to make it more fun.
This is very good toy it keeps my dog busy running around the house with it.There are a coue things you can do to not have to worry about the on/off button getting pressed by accident.Open the toy, there are 2 screws holding the mechanism in place.Remove both screws using a Phillips and pry the spinner off, the top holds a spring and flat washer held on by a plastic tip you unscrewed.Remove the plastic washer and spring then replace the plastic tip and screw the spinner back onto the ball.Install 3 rechargeable batteries, press the on button and attach both ball halves together. Now when the toy shuts off it’ll be in standby mode waiting for you or your dog to play with it.These steps work for all the toys that have the plastic ball. Have fun!

This is a really good toy compared to others I have
It’s a great time my dog loves it. It has lasted longer than any of the other toys I’ve gotten for her. The Velcro doesn’t work anymore, but that’s OK because it has an elastic strap around the tail which still holds it very well. And there’s no stuffing that comes out after she’s chewed through any stitching cause there really isn’t any stuffing in the tail, which is great. And the mechanism inside is encased in pretty hard plastic. Once in a while, she’ll turn it off with her teeth but you just have to push the button again. I’ll buy another one if this one ever goes bad for whatever reason.

My dog is 9 yrs. old so I’ve purchased 9 of these as I get him a new one every year. Usually, it’s just loud and the bark is annoying to humans but like catnip (ya know if dogs liked catnip) to my dog. My pup was so excited when his new one arrived back in early July 2024 and couldn’t wait for me to pull the tab to get the barking, bouncing, wiggling to begin.I took it out of the package, pulled the tab and gave it to him, he shook it and this HORRIBLE screeching/squealing sound came out of it! Oh boy, it was defective. I had to take it away from my boy and get on Amazon and do an exchange because it should bark and bounce and wiggle, not squeal/screech and bounce and wiggle. I did the exchange and a few days later a new one was delivered! The joy on my pups face was priceless. Again, I pulled the tab out and gave it to him and this one ALSO HAD A HORRIBLE SCREECHING/SQUEALING SOUND!I decided to contact the seller directly as I didn’t want to get them in trouble with Amazon for selling multiple defective products. I called the number on the enclosed paperwork and got voicemail so I left a message with my name, email address and return phone number just as the outgoing message instructed. I waited 4 days and no one called me back so I called the number again and again got voicemail so I left yet another message, it’s been over a week now and no one has bothered to call me back.Terrible customer service and two defective products that they absolutely know about and here I am giving a trash review for a trash company with a great product that my dog loves when it works as advertised.Fortunately, I see there are other companies on Amazon that sell similar products so my dog will not have to go without for too long. Just seriously disappointed that I’ve purchased 9 of these from this vendor over the years and can’t get an email or call of apology! I hope Amazon pulls them as a seller so they don’t scam anyone else!

Ruby cannot live without this toy
My dog loves this toy so much that she plays with it constantly until it’s so broken that we have to throw it away and then she mopes until we get her a new one. We have rebought this toy at least two dozen times since the first one. As a small puppy she was a little afraid of it at first but once she got over that it quickly became her number one toy.Downsides:1. Durability. Ruby is an intelligent corgi and she has made a practice of taking the inner ball out of the wolf tail part. She usually manages this within the first ten minutes. I can put it back in there but by the third time she takes it out the Velcro is destroyed. After that, the plastic ball trigger gets chewed up and I have to alter it with some pliers or clippers so the button doesn’t get stuck. Eventually the holes in the ball collect dust and the constant bouncing wears on the gears and breaks them. At that point it makes a terrible grinding noise and stop bouncing. Then we throw it away and the dog mopes and whines until we buy a new one. This cycle lasts a month or two usually. Longer in the summer when she spends less time inside.2. Materials.The hard plastic may or may not be responsible for chipping and blunting her teeth. Vet isn’t worried about them being blunted but one tooth got chipped and though it doesn’t bother her the vet wants to remove it before it gets worse. We’re not 100% sure it’s this ball but we think it might be because she bites it while it’s bouncing.3. Batteries.Requires 3 AAA and it comes with them but they do wear out and you have to replace them which is why you can’t just permanently sew the cover closed. If it was rechargeable instead it might be more durable.So ultimately I gave it 4 stars because my dog is obsessed with it but it has a few flaws that keep it from being 5.

Annoys the hell out of the other half! But makes the dog SOOO FREAKIN HAPPY!!! Top 3 toys he requires with him. Both his & my heart would break if they stopped selling these! New sound is also a great improvement!!

My young girl loves this toy. She was a bit unsure of it when it first arrived and seemed to think if she barked at it, it would work. She soon worked it out and 6 months later is still running around with it, tossing it around and catching it. I have had to change the batteries a few times but it has been the best value toy in keeping her entertained. The only complaint I have with it is that there is no screw on the cover of the battery box. So sometimes you think the batteries are flat but the batteries have just come loose. I use sticky tape at the moment until I find a small screw. May not be an issue on others as it could have just been missed in the one we received.
