Good for bench seats
This was an experiment for me trying to keep my hyperactive dog in the back seat.Do not use with bucket seats, you will not be able to independently adjust the seats. Also, your pet will just duck under the barrier.I think that the product is well made and goes together easily. Although, installation is possible by one person, two people makes the process much easier.It should work well for bench seats.

Good concept
This was a bit of a cluster to assemble and install. I mean, I got it without any pictures/instructions because there weren’t any (maybe they got lost?).But once I got it installed I started to adjust it and it just didn’t seem symmetrical at all. It’s longer on one side vs the other.I have it mounted to the back headrests and had to shift it completely to the left because it’s all hanging off the right side.It’s not very stable because they’re sticking out so far. But even on the end that’s NOT sticking out far, it’s kinda flimsy.Some of the bars lock into place, which is nice. But the ones that dont (up and down directions) are falling down. Maybe it’s because I live down a super bumpy road or something.It’s a really good concept and I actually even like how it looks, it just doesn’t seem really well built as it’s pretty flimsy and just not holding up very well.

Too small for a ford Expedition, and you have to put the headrests down just to mount it. Seller should really list which makes and models it is compatible with.

Provides air and good range of vision for the dog
This is a decent barrier for dogs riding in small SUVs. I couldn’t figure out how to put it between the front seat and the next row, so it had to go after the second row of seats., putting the dogs in the cargo space at the back of the car. This was fine for keeping them off my lap while driving but a very determined dog could probably paw its way through the bars. Otherwise, it’s a good barrier allowing for plenty of air and range of vision for the dogs. Please note that this barrier does not come assembled and it took an hour to put it together. It’s best to lay everything out on a flat surface and arrange the posts, bars and clips and connect them all before bringing this into the car.
