Kitten Feeding Syringe for Feeding, KittenThis is a very nice kit for feeding kittens. It comes with a nice box to keep it in and they will all fit. You can check out my photos out to show how I did it. I’m sure there are other ways as well. It comes with a medicine cup for dosing meds. It has several different size nipples for the included plastic nursing bottle that holds 50 cc. There are 4 syringes which are luer lock syringes, this means they have a threaded tip so other items can be attached securely. The only item that is included in this kit using the luer lock is dust caps for the syringes. They will keep inside of the syringe clean. You also receive a small brush so that you can clean the inside of the syringes and nipples which is helpful. This kit has an excellent set of items to use with small kittens. I am not fostering any kittens now but I have in the past. I really appreciate the thought in this kit since I had to gather these items individually. These are good choices all around and seem like they would be durable. They will be easy to use and easy to clean. I also think they are a good value as well. There is one other item they include which is a first aid pamphlet. You may want to run this by your vet if you’re not familiar with the scenarios listed.

Perfect for dogs and puppies
I was having a hard time giving my two dogs liquid medication. Pills no problem, I love the syringes in this set because two actually fit inside the liquid bottle of medication. Added bonus the brush that can clean out of syringes, nipples, measuring cup and bottle. This is a good grade of plastic that it clean ups really easy, so far I still have the measurement print on the syringes. The flow of the syringe you can go fast or slow and functions just like most medical grade syringes. Being able to put the nipple on the syringe is perfect. One of my dogs is still very young and even will chatter his teeth while sleeping, we believe he still remembers nursing. I use the nipple on the syringe and open the side of his lip and insert the syringe with the nipple and has had zero issues taking medications and I also will fill the bottle with water and do the same thing and make sure they get enough water with the medication. Just squeezing the bottle works very good. This whole kit comes with so many different items and a case to hold it and is a great value. I have had zero problems with both dogs choking or running from me. A very great set of items to have when you have pets. Perfect set to have on hand and cleaned up in their own case. With dogs liquid medications can get all over if you let them lick it up, what a mess, this solves that problem.

Not just for kittens
I’ve been using this kit to care for a 6lb cat that was abandoned, and starving, so her digestive system is not completely working on its own. She should weigh at least 10 lbs for her body frame. She’s currently on a feeding tube, so having this kit has been extremely helpful. I chose it because it includes several useful tools for giving medications and for bottle-feeding by mouth. The bottle nipples work well for inserting into the side of a cat’s mouth, making feeding much easier, as we attempt to get her off the feeding tube.Although the syringes are labeled as single-use, I was able to reuse them a few times since they were easy to clean and continued to work perfectly. My cat is on multiple medications, most requiring a 0.7 ml dose, and the syringes have more than enough capacity for that. The smallest syringe holds 1 ml, and the largest holds 5 ml. The feeding bottle is clearly marked with measurements up to 50cc, which is plenty for a typical feeding portion.The kit also includes a cleaning brush and multiple syringe caps to prevent leaks. Overall, this kit has been very useful to have on hand, and I would definitely recommend it since the quality is as good as the kit provided at the animal emergency hospital. It’s a good value for all that you get.

Nice kit for feeding or medicine
My old cat does not do well at the vet. He gets very scared and “threatens” to hurt the staff. They recommended medicating him to help calm him so he isn’t so stressed and to protect themselves as well.Because we have another cat, I can’t put this in his food or the other might get into it. The feeding pack comes with syringes and caps to help get the medicine in the cat. I’ve tried others but without an end piece on the syringe, it leaks out and more gets on the floor than into my cat. This prevents it and works great for this.The pieces put together easily and are just as easy to clean especially with the cleaning brush that’s included. Its also got a nice solid case to hold everything in.

Good to have around for orphaned kittens and older felines as well
I foster from time-to-time for the shelter in my county. Currently I have a 3-week-old orphaned kitten and an older kitten that’s on a special wet food diet. This feeding kit has been absolutely essential for me to have. The nipples are soft and do a great job of dispensing the correct amount of KMR formula, and the largest syringe is ideal for feeding watered-down A/D to the older kitten. It’s a good idea to have a storage kit for all the tiny parts that need to be kept clean/sterile and useful for the cleaning brush as well.Also, if you plan on choosing this kit, here’s a tip: Feeding a young kitten every few hours is crucial, I’ve successfully substituted a sterilized medicine dropper for bottle-feeding. It’s adorable how the little ones wrap their tiny tongues around it. This kit has truly made caring for these babies so much easier – BTW, doing this is very rewarding.
