We have a lab mix who gets really bad hot spots on her skin and constantly nibbles and licks at them. We tried medicated sprays and ointments, but she would lick everything right back off. That’s when we decided to try this recovery cone.I’ll be honest; it scared her at first. When we first put it on, she wasn’t sure what to think and froze for a bit. It took a few hours for her to really get used to it, but once she realized she could still walk around, see, eat, and drink, she settled down just fine.Since using this cone, she can no longer reach the areas we’re treating, and we noticed a big improvement in her skin in just a few days. It has already made a noticeable difference in helping her heal.The quality is much better than the hard plastic cones from the vet. The inside is made of breathable mesh that feels soft against her neck and doesn’t rub or cause irritation. The transparent outer panels are flexible but still sturdy enough to hold their shape, so they protect her without being stiff or sharp. Perfect functional and upgraded dog cone
This is an exceptional dog cone and has additional comfort features you do not receive from the ones at the vet. It is the perfect size and functions perfectly. It allows for good mobility for the pet, and works great. I love having the snaps, and it really is an upgrade.

Easy to use cone
This cone has a thick, soft, padded material around the head and neck. There are ties at the bottom that you can pull tight-er to adjust for neck size. There are snaps for adjustment of the actual cone. The outer material is a cloudy clear plastic, where your dog can see to walk and get around. This is an XL and my girl is about 80lbs – there’s no licking in this! It was very easy to set up and use. She could get around with this on, which is good. This is a durable and well made cone.

I’ve purchased several clothing and accessory items from this brand for my dog, so my confidence in their products is well established. They are always well made and thoughtfully designed, even if sizing can be tricky because of my dog’s shape. He is short-necked, short-legged, and has a long torso.This one didn’t work out, but that’s on me, since I should have realized before ordering that it wouldn’t be a good fit. This dog cone collar is well-constructed, with soft, netted padding, adjustable snaps, and a toggle closure. However, it is not a proper fit for my brachycephalic dog, with a larger head and short neck. I even sized up, and as the photo of the cone placed beside my dog shows, I was off in terms of scale. Even if I had chosen “M” size for the neck, it still would not have fit the rest of him because of his proportions.Despite my sizing mistake, the quality is evident. This cone has an upgraded double-layer design with soft mesh inside for comfort and waterproof transparent PVC so the dog can see when wearing it. The widened protective barrier prevents licking, even in tricky areas like the hind legs or paws. If your dog is more of a Houdini master 🎩, this will give them a challenge. It also has a well-done adjustable drawstring stopper and rows of adjustable snaps.If you have a dog with a longer neck, this design is perfect, I believe. The size “L” I got has a neck girth of 13.3–17.3 inches and a depth of 9.8 inches. That generous depth is what makes it effective, and also why it doesn’t fit my short-necked dog, even with a 13+ inch neck. It happens.Fortunately, it can suit another dog in the extended family who needs to wear a cone routinely for the same chronic skin condition as my dog. They’re not the same breed, but skin issues can be very debilitating. They need a cone so they can’t reach their paws or other affected areas. And yes, we treat the condition properly, but it still gets itchy, so the cone is genuinely necessary. You might need a few to switch off, though this one is sturdy enough to be the main cone for a while.
