Great for the outdoors people in your life
Really nice little kit to have. Would be a great gift for someone that spends a lot of time outdoors. I’m a forager and hunter so I end up with a lot of ticks. As does my hunting dog. I’ll be keeping this close by.

Very handy tick remover kit
This is a very handy tick removal kit to have. It comes in a nice pouch with 3 tools. They are easy to hold and use. I especially like the curved tweezers, they do a great job grabbing the smaller, thin ticks. I have also used the tweezers on myself for a splinter….LOL. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with pets.

The curved tweezers work well for tiny ticks
Deer ticks are really bad in my area and they frequently get on my dogs. The ticks are very tiny and it’s hard to pick them off with tweezers without squeezing them (you don’t want to squeeze the tick while it’s attached). I was hoping the little fork-like tool would work, but it’s too big to use on the tiny ticks. The long curved tweezers have a very small tip and work well though. I haven’t needed to use the other tweezers, but I’m sure they will come in handy at some point. Nice little set with a convenient case for home or travel. Good value.

Great kit to have on hand
This is a great tick removal tool set. It’s got a Y shaped fork to slide around big nasty ticks, and there are super fine tip tweezers, not-so-fine tweezers and wider tweezers for all sizes of ticks. I wish I had this kit but it was a few days away from being delivered when I discovered one of my cats had a tick on their neck. Needless to say I was not as successful removing it without the head snapping off versus the removal potentially going better if I’d had this kit.The tools are easy to use and seem durable. I do wish the Y fork tool had thinner metal. It’s thicker than I thought it would be. If it was half the thickness, it would grip around a tick better, but it will do.At around $10 for this kit with stainless steel tools, it’s a good buy to have on hand whether for you, other people and your pets need some tick removal.

The Tick Tools You Need In a Compact Case!
Full disclosure: I have not used this kit, and I hope I never need to use this kit.So why did I get this, if I hope to never use it? Easy: Ticks and the diseases they cause are no laughing matter, and having a tick kit always available, is super important. Ticks do not disappear in winter, they are here, always.I have a kit in my house that I have had for years, I pulled together the tools and they do the job. Having a compact kit, safely stored in a snapped pouch, that i can keep in my purse and so always with me, that I can get to immediately? Truly, that’s priceless.Looking at the tools in this kit, they are exactly what you need, whether for human or animal. (I might want to add a metal comb for animals.) They are easy to hold and maneuver, more so than what I have been using. The tips are exactly what you need, are strong and sturdy.This little compact kit measures 5 inches by 1.75 inches – whether purse, car, or home, it is so worth having! (And I hope you never need to use it, either!)

A must have in tick country.
Living in a high-tick area with multiple dogs, this little kit is exactly the kind of thing I like to keep stashed everywhere. We’re in the woods daily, and even with prevention, ticks still manage to latch on—so tick checks are pretty much a way of life.The fine-point curved tweezers are the real MVP here. They’re the only style I’ve found that reliably grab those tiny nymph ticks, especially through thick fur. The fork tool isn’t something I use often, but it is helpful if you need to remove a larger, well-attached tick. The dual-end tweezers aren’t my go-to either, but the tips align well and they’re good to have as a backup in the pouch.Overall, it’s a solid, convenient kit to keep in the truck, UTV, or grooming bag—especially if you’re in tick country and dealing with them as often as we do.

Everything you need to safely remove a tick
This toolkit is essential to have on hand where I live. Ticks are endemic in the summer (my veterinarian says their lifecycle is actually year round now). I had previously gotten the credit card shaped tick remover and it fell short: it only has one move-if you can’t successfully slide it under the tick it’s useless. These tools give you several options of removal for those tiny dug in deer ticks. Worth its weight in gold when you need it. I’m a nurse and rapid tick removal is your best hope to avoid tick borne diseases. One of my dogs contracted Rocky Mountain spotted fever from a failed preventive medicine, so I am vigilant about checking them for hitchhikers when they come in. Having this high quality durable tool set gives me confidence that I can remove whatever I encounter. Reminds me of high end tweezerman type quality. Perfect fit for my average sized hands, enamel coating not slippery.

more than one way to remove a tick
Ticks come in sizes from teensy to icky large. This set gives four choices of what tool to use to remove the critter. We live in a rural fairly wooded area. It’s a slow time for ticks right now so I haven’t used any of them yet, but the tools are sturdy and the tweezers align well. Keeping them together in the case will be great at home for both the humans and the pets, as well as easy to toss in the vehicle for hiking/biking. I can’t really say I look forward to using this kit, but am certainly glad to have it.
