Large size does not have foamer
The larger size is a refill bottle and does not include the foam pump. I ordered the large size because my dog is big and did not realize it was a refill bottle. I ordered the smaller bottle to be able to foam the shampoo, I have both sizes. The small bottle was enough for my 70 pound gsd mix. The product does work, my dog smelled better. I used a high Velocity dryer instead of just air drying. It would be nice if it got more hair off my dog. My dog is still shedding heavy. 4 stars is for the large size being a refill bottle, I selected this without looking to see what was different from the small size. I assumed it was just a larger size. Product is good.

So easy! Picky red heeler-approved!
I bought this I when we first brought home our rescue at the end of July. She is a 22 month old red heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix. We wanted to wash the rescue smells off of her and she also seems to get a little irritated/itchy from the grass and things outside. The itching seems to have improved, although it’s also possible the itching was just new home nerves. We’ve had her for about a month now and I give her a bath with this almost every week before I brush her out. She can be skittish about some things but doesnt mind this at all! I am positive she wouldn’t tolerate an actual water bath, and considering she wont let anyone trim her nails and can be very nippy, a real bath would be a nightmare. She recently started hunting for lizards in dirt piles on our walks (video attached – not shown: Hartley literally belly flopping into the dirt to pin down a tiny lizard), so she can get VERY dirty. I wiper her down with some Poggi hypoallergenic dog wipes and then use this and the result is great! Only after she is clean is she allowed on the bed (clean pic also attached). The scent lasts about a day, maybe less, on her and we go for walks at least 4 times a day (not all of them involve dirt piles, thankfully lol). The scent reminds me of something i cant quite put my finger on, but it works! It doesn’t irritate me and I can be very sensitive to certain smells. I would recommend this to most dog owners, especially to those who would find it hard to give their dog a water bath. Our dog basically thinks its a fun petting/massage session. Sometimes it can seem a tiny bit sticky but usually if I brush her out it does not feel that way anymore

OK for emergencies but not a replacement for a real bath
I picked up this waterless dog shampoo hoping it would make freshening up my pup easier between baths. It does the job okay for a quick clean, but there are a few downsides.The scent is stronger than I expected—almost like a heavy perfume. It lingers on my dog’s coat and sometimes even makes me sneeze. If you or your pet are sensitive to fragrance, this might be too much.While it does make her fur smell nicer, I don’t feel like it really cleans deeply. It’s fine for surface dirt and dust, but anything more stubborn still requires a proper bath. I also noticed it leaves a slight residue if I use too much, so you really have to brush it through thoroughly.The spray bottle works fine, but I feel like I have to use a lot of product to cover her coat, which makes me think it won’t last long.Overall, it’s convenient for emergencies or in cold weather, but it’s not a replacement for a real bath. I’ll keep it for quick touch-ups, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my only grooming solution.

Clean pups are the best
I love being able to give my pup a dry shampoo between regular baths. He loves to go out and roll in the grass and before I let him get on the bed he gets a dry wash. It works well and his coat is so shiny, and he smells great! It’s a win, win, win. Foam seems to work the best for him and he loves the attention. No worries with the bottle leaking. I recommend this product.

Awesome product!
I read a lot of the reviews and many said they use this on older pets that sometimes have accidents. That is basically what I was looking for. My 11 year old GSD gets frequent UTI’s and ends up having an accident where she gets urine on herself or sits in it. She needs to be clean and feel good. This is perfect because it’s mousse/foam and I just rub it in. At first I was just going to use it if and where she smelled like pee but today I decided to use it all over her to give her a mini grooming session. Easy to apply, easy to rub in, I let her be for an hour or so, then took her outside and gave her a nice brushing all over. The foam dries like nothing. No stiffness, just a clean smell. Her coat brushes out nice and she looks and smells pretty.

This has definitely increased the intervals between grooming sessions for us. It freshens up the coat and takes out any mild smells. Great for cleaning up paws and privates. also good for underbelly clean-ups when it gets dirty with dew or muck on rainy days. Doesn’t leave a “wet dog” smell after it dries. Application is super simple… just spray the foam on your palms and then rub it gently into the area to clean… after a while it vanishes and the area is left clean and odour free.
