Thickest supportive yet soft mattress out of the last 11! 🏆
This fits our white 42” dual-entry crates perfectly. I bought dog beds from three companies in order to find the thickest, best quality, washable, soft but supportive beds. I appreciate that this one ticks all those boxes – and has a washable cover. Practicality is key with dogs.This has a great amount of stretching out space for a 70 pound very tall poodle/golden retriever mix. But the best part about it is the thick, comfortable cushions – both the main egg crate and the supportive bolsters!To show the height (thickness) see my photo of the bed next to a common tissue box (USA).I like the cover’s unique blend of taupe and beige – it can work with both warm and cool undertoned decor. The sides are a nice rust-brown, and the pom pons are a fun touch!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pro tip: check the price history. This bed’s price has fluctuated around $30 recently. I had my doubts at first but my dog didn’t
When the Pawcoli Orthopedic dog bed arrived, my heart sank. I thought I had ordered the wrong size (30”×21”×7”). It looked too small for my 26-lb Goldendoodle. I was disappointed because I really liked this bed in every respect. First of all, let me say, it’s really cute. While I’m not crazy about the maroon color, it works with the light grey color of the flat part of the bed. The orthopedic egg crate foam feels thick enough to be very supportive for a dog’s joints, especially elbows which take a lot of abuse when a dog plops down. The bed is surrounded on 3 sides by bolsters which can be removed – also a great feature. The entire cover is easily removable for washing. I’ve had other dog beds in the past that weren’t washable and had to be thrown out after awhile. So, the removable cover will ensure that this bed will be used for a long time. This seems to be a well-made, quality dog bed, nothing cheap about it. So, after removing it from the package and allowing it to inflate to its full size, the next day I put it down on the floor. To my surprise, my fur baby went right to it and sat down. At this point, I still felt it looked too small for him to lay down comfortably. But, a little later, there he was laying in it, looking as cozy and comfortable as could be! I guess he knew better than I did about whether or not this would be a good fit for him. I can see that this bed will be used for a very long time. He’s only 5 years old now with no mobility issues, but that may change as he gets older. Hopefully, this bed will help to support and preserve his joints as time goes on. Based on the bed’s quality, I believe it will.
