Works Really Well and Dogs Love It
I have been using these Hemp calming treats for about 3 yrs now. I’m surprised I haven’t written a review yet! I researched CBD type calming treats a few years ago and discovered what combination of hemp/CBD, melatonin, chamomile, etc. type treats would work best on my 2 dogs. I rescued them from our area shelter when they were 1-2 yrs old. They are so sweet! One dog doesnt like thunder, the other doesnt like loud popping sounds or the lawnmower. We live in the country and people shoot guns out here. It was getting to be a problem for my one dog. We tried several brands before we found Hemp Calming Treats. It works extremely well on both dogs and they love the flavor of the treats. It calms them and mellows them but doesn’t knock them out or make them lethargic. I foster dogs as well and the calming treats worked very well on them also. Especially when they need to decompress. I now have these treats on the Subscribe and Save.

Chill pills for my scaredy-dog
One of my three rescue dogs is extremely skittish even after two years in my home. He was a street dog before he came to us at about a year old, so who knows what he went through. He’s especially prone to startling and hiding when my husband comes into the room, even though my husband loves him and has never hurt him, yelled at him or anything like that. So I thought we would try these.They work well! After my pup has taken his “chill pills,” as I call them, he becomes much more calm and will get closer to my husband, even falling asleep next to him on the sofa. It’s good. My dog is very sweet and seems to like my husband once he gets over feeling so scared.I have given these to my other dogs on occasion, when we were having people over. My older dog is a rambunctious pit bull terrier who adores people and doesn’t know his own strength, so sometimes he needs a chill pill too.

Calmed my dog
Initially, I was a bit wary to give my 90 lb dog ANY kind of calming supports. However, I have seen an improvement in his movements after taking some supplements for joints from the same company. I knew 4th of July was coming up and illegal fireworks were becoming more and more common. So for 3 nights in a row I gave Jax these calming chews. There was a noticeable difference in that he wasn’t bolting for my bedroom, which he is not allowed in. He hung out in the den area and when it was time to go potty before bedtime, he went out and did his business, despite fireworks being used. He quickly came in but settled down for the night. I am convinced the chews worked. Will definitely keep these around and share information with friends for their dogs.

Dog loves the favor, but no calming effects
My dog has significant anxiety with loud noises. My vet has prescribed sedatives for her around the 4th of July and New Year’s fireworks. I wanted to try something more natural and the reviews for these were good. However they did nothing to ease her anxiety during this and I felt horrible that she had to suffer for hours until the sedatives kicked in. She loves the flavor of these so I just use them as a treat to use them up.

Tremendous help for Chi
I have a chihuahua who attacks me in the night with the strength of 10. It is absolutely horrifying being woken up by the growl, petrified while praying he won’t strike and sink his teeth into my flesh. Several times each night I was jolted from a sound sleep and forced off the bed by the attack. I tried added more excercise during the day and having him wear a thundershirt to sleep. Neither helped at all, even when used together. These chews are a godsend. I give him one every night before bed and the episodes have cut down a good 90%. I rarely get so much as a growl now. I’m a cheapskate and do not like paying much for anything, but I’ll pay full price for this because it is worth every penny to help us both get a good night’s sleep.

Doesn’t work, sadly.
I have a 9 month old Dachshund, and was hoping this would help to calm him down in the evenings, when he’s tired cranky, but it didn’t do anything. It’s as if it’s just a regular treat for him. I was hoping it would work, based on reviews, but it didn’t. I gave him one chew, as he weighs 15 pounds, and nothing. In fact, he’s maybe a tad bit more hyperactive.Update…my little guy is now 14 months old, and I still have this jar on hand, and will grab one on occasion, but he now refuses to eat them. That’s saying a lot, because he’ll pretty much eat anything he can find, including grass, dirt, leaves, and whatever else he knows he shouldn’t be eating. This obviously tastes worse than those non edible things.I went back to read the description, and it says it works like magic…I wish! My doxie has extreme anxiety in the evenings, and I’ve still not found anything out here that actually works.

They work well
As long as I give my lively dog 2 in her breakfast I can give her another one later if needed. They are great during storms, high winds and fireworks.
