My Dog’s new favorite toy
This is the best dog toy I’ve ever bought. My 7lb dog absolutely loves it. He did destroy the cover almost immediately, but loves to chase the orange ball around. It is noisy on tile floors, but is not bad at all on carpet. The battery life is great. I can use it for multiple play sessions before it needs to be charged and I love that it’s rechargeable and I’m not having to look for batteries all the time. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone who wants to keep their dog active in cold weather, but please note if it is able to go underneath your couch. It will absolutely do so and get caught in corners too.

Well made and super fun for my dog!
Fun dog toy. Works great and easy to charge. Good charge life. My Kong loves it set to “crazy” mode and the start and stops always keep him guessing. Soft cover didn’t last long, but you can order replacements. I bring out the ball when he needs a bit of energy drain. Super fun!

this is so cute and my dog loved it, it’s of course gonna get worn down after a while but is perfect to entertain a puppy! it’s a good size and doesn’t get lost, it’s pretty noisy though, it doesn’t hurt my dogs teeth and the battery last a while!

Not for large breed dogs
Great and fun but not for large dogs with alot of jaw strength. My Rottie loved playing with it but after just a few minutes of running and catching it it would pop apart. Hence my jaw strength comment. Smaller dogs I think it would be fine but not rugged enough for larger breeds.

Great for Exuberant Puppies!
So we ended up with a puppy recently (I had planned to adopt an adult dog in a few months), but there was a big litter of puppies at a sawmill I get sawdust at. I picked out a confident male; thinking my 6 year old female dog would be more receptive to a male puppy. Well, he’s rambunctious!!!! And she’s not willing to share toys (in fact she tries to steal his, and she has plenty of her own). We needed something to help tire him out. I bought this and a treat dispensing toy. They both work fantastically. This toy bounces and rolls all over the place and he loves it. Is it noisy? Absolutely. I can hear it bouncing around from the next room. We have hard wood floors and we use it in the living room that has an area rug. It will manage to bounce out into the hall too. The cover is great. He can grab it and shake it, fling it around. He now weighs 11 pounds (6 pounds two weeks ago when I brought him home. The small one is a great size for small dogs or puppies. My other dog is a 25 pound Rat Terrier mix and she even likes it (but probably only because he does!). I thought she might be afraid of it and some older dogs not exposed to unusual toys may be afraid of the movement and bouncing/rattling noise. But for a boisterous active puppy, it’s great!

Bought this ball for my dog, after a day the roll function stopped working. I contacted the company, they offered to replace it, no return, no cost.I emailed the website, and the product arrived the very next day. Now that’s customer service! Highly recommend.

Adult dogs find it boring
It’s not very interactive, it basically has a timer and a motion sensor. It moves about by using an appropriately unbalanced motor and by controlling how the motor spins, it can cause jumping or rolling. It seems to notice unexpected motions (e.g., if the dog moves it from rest or disrupts its programmed motion). Depending on the mode selected, it will roll or bounce for a short period of time and if not interacted with, will stop, wait for a short period of time and then repeat essentially the same script. However in absence of interaction, it can become completely idle so it can get becalmed under furniture.It interested my puppy for about 5 minutes and then only because we used two of the toys at the same time with the toys and the puppy in a confined area (a pen) where the toy couldn’t roll under the furniture. The adult dogs looked at the toy for about 30 seconds, looked at me (rolled their eyes) and walked away.It is nowhere near interactive enough to be of interest to any of our dogs; a toy that would truly interest a dog would need to be about as clever as a dog which won’t happen at this price point anytime soon. You might be better of with Bumble Ball (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CXXMPSF8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A32GMGFCBYEV0G&th=1) or a remote controlled car like toy or … just play with dog directly.

Update to Petdroid interactive toy.
I have to update my original five star review. This is still a great toy but it’s supposed to have two settings, one where it rolls straight and one where it bounces. Ours only bounces. It does not go straight. Other than that, our dog still loves it.

This is proving to be a brilliant addiction for my puppy. She loves it. It moves on its own. It spins. She is obsessed with it. There is a plastic cover for the charging hole and I have taken that off incase she bites it off. I don’t know how long it will last. It seems robust and is surviving being thrown about at present.
