Awesome collar!
Got this bright pink collar for my little pitty after hers finally broke on us. The material is soft and with no rigid edges so the dogs don’t get annoyed by it. It fits well and is super easy to adjust and clip on. The collar is really light and bright enough that you could probably see it even with the bushiest of pups! My dog loves it and it seems like they aren’t even wearing a collar! The price was fantastic and it gets the job done well. The collar itself is 3/4in wide so it has The material is high quality and would be a solid choice for a collar with or without the Guardian unit attached. Really good stuff from PetSafe!

Works very well and saved me a lot of money compared to other similar products. Easy to use and doesn’t seem to bother my dog at all. It had held up well and gets the job done!

Do not purchase- the collar easily loosens and falls off
I am a long time Petsafe wireless Fence user, purchased multiple products and have had no issues with them until now. I purchased this collar 3 weeks ago and every day for the first 2 weeks it loosened up to the point of the collar falling off. About a week ago after going out of town the collar once again loosened up and fell off but this time even using the apps last known location I cannot find the collar anywhere. Due to this being cell based with the collar once the collar is gone there is nothing left of this system. I paid over $400 and this should not have happened for this kind of money. This is not my first time putting a collar on a dog obviously so it’s not user error. I hate to leave 1 star because while it was on my pet it worked great but without the collar I have no containment. I spoke with Petsafe support and they did offer a 20% discount on another collar but I cannot spend this much money to have it fall off and be back in the same situation again. For a product this expensive and being only 2 weeks old as well as a long time customer with 4 previously purchased systems I expected more. Not only did I risk loosing my pet after trusting this company I also lost over $400 in the process. I am now using my older Petsafe wireless fence but this was not the outcome I was looking for. Do not purchase unless you’re ready to risk having nothing more than a free roaming dog and an empty wallet. This issue is probably due to the new rubber collar strap because I do not have this issue with the older fabric collars. I will no longer be purchasing Petsafe products.

Loosening collar
I’d say it’s a good system overall — especially for the convenience and freedom it gives you. The fence boundaries setups are fairly simple and easy to follow. The loosening of the collar due to the clamp/clip designs creates issues and concerns with of the correction vibration actually getting to the dog and the inability to fit snuggly on the neck as suggested. But it’s not perfect, and if the collar loosening or app issues bother you, you’d want to make sure you’re comfortable with those trade-offs before buying.

Great quality collar!
I got this collar for my dog as hers finally broke. The material it’s made of feels soft but also strong enough to last which is really nice as my dog seems to have zero discomfort with the collar and the guardian gps unit easily slips in and has tight fit. Really love the bright pink collar makes it easy to spot when having to leash her and it just looks really nice. The price of it is definitely worth the quality you get. You are definitely able to tell it’s just overall well made.

It has been over a month since this purchase and I have been extremely happy with the PetSafe Guardian GPS collar so far. The collar itself is lightweight and comfortable, my dog adjusted to wearing it almost immediately and it doesn’t seem bothered it at all. Setup through the app was straightforward, and creating custom boundaries was easier than I expected, even for an weird shape property.The GPS tracking has been very accurate, and the alerts are fast. I really like that you can customize the correction type e.g. tone and vibration which def made training much smoother and easier to adapt to my dog personality. After a short learning period, my dog clearly understands the boundaries and turns back as soon as the warning kicks in.Battery life has also been very solid and it lasts for days, which is a big plus since I don’t want to be charging it constantly.Overall, this collar has given me real peace of mind knowing my dog is safe (and don’t go into my neighbors property), even with plenty of room to run and explore.Reliable, easy to use, and well designed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with small-to-medium dog breeds who is looking for a GPS fence solution that actually works.
