Great product!
This is a great product and perfect for my Greyhounds foot that he keeps injuring. It protects his bandage and he doesn’t try to pull off the boot! 🙂 I probably could have used a size smaller for him but this one is working out just fine.. I highly recommend this item!

Get your sizing right and change the material !!
Wow terrible. First off, this is absolutely NOT the size for the size paws indicated on the packaging or on the Amazon page for this item, the sizes are the size of the BOOTS themselves, not the paw that fits in them (facepalm), so they were WAY too small. Second, the ENTIRE bootie is soft material that the Velcro sticks to, which is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen if you’re trying to AVOID things like fox tails. There were literally a ton of them stuff to/in the bootie, and in my dog’s foot when I took it off. Absurd. That could have cost me a ridiculous vet bill, thankfully I noticed and inspected his paw to find all this mess you’ll see in the photos. Returning.

Not super durable for long term use
I purchased this boot to go over a splint on my puppy’s back foot (he broke a couple toes). My desire was to keep the bandage clean and prevent him from chewing it. I purchased an extra large and it fit over the splint of my 5 month old standard poodle puppy (40 lb dog). The bottom portion of this boot has a water resistant outer layer that is nice for keeping a bandage protected. However, my puppy has been wearing this for about 3 weeks, and has already worn through the bottom of the boot; he drags his injured foot a lot, especially with this boot on. As a resolution to keep this product working for longer, I will likely use a plastic bag to line the inside of the boot and prevent moisture from seeping up from grass etc.Note: this product is not waterproof (or even resistant) on the top portion. If your dog pees on their foot, it WILL go through immediately.

Difficult to use, weird sizing
Very difficult to get my dog’s paw into, and the sizing was all over the place – I got this in two sizes, one sizing up and one sizing down, and they were both off and neither fit somehow.

Size Up – Considering Swelling on injury.
Purchased this for my lab mix – she had foot surgery. Overall, the boot works, I measured and used the size chart, ordered a large, did not fit well, on the smaller side of fitting. The paw she had surgery on is swelled up, so take this into consideration when ordering. That being said, it still was a smaller fit for her good paw. I am ordering an extra large.

Excellent quality.
Ended up returning because I thought I was buying a set of 4. This seems to be made to cover a paw that is injured. It was very high quality and seemed very easy to put on. The fit was such that it would stay on the paw. A bit expensive since it as just one but if you were worried about paw health, it would definitely work.

Ideal for ‘recovery’ from ortho-paw-dic surgery
I stepped on my young dobe’s toe a few years ago and broke it. It didn’t heal properly, recently became very painful, and the toe needed to come off. She was sent home with a bandage the surgeon wanted to stay on for two weeks without disturbing it, and his assistant suggested I get ‘a recovery boot from Amazon’, which I did. This larger size is perfect for the job, fits over the bandage, isn’t slippery, and with it’s big flap with a Velcro fastener is easy to get on and off without hurting a very sore paw. I don’t think it’s useful for much else, but is perfect for a dog recovering from a foot or wrist injury or surgery.

Way too small
I’m not trying to be rude but I have no idea what German Shepherd they know that would fit in this boot. What’s funny is the width does match but in practice when on it slowly slips off and within 10 minutes it’s almost off all the way. My German shepherd is only 10 months old – I cannot imagine any full grown German shepherd or larger breed ever fitting this.
