Tough As Nails, Avoid Heavier Clay Litter
I was happy to see an automatic litter box that didn’t look like a space pod, but an actual litter box. I’ll preface this by saying we have two older cats, one with pancreatitis/pancreatic cancer. We’re deep in the trenches. This box is pretty tough, and can stand up to a lot. For the best success, you should avoid the heaviest clay litters, and pick up a few extra cleaning tools.Manual Mode: It has a manual mode, which is good, because I don’t need the network features. I don’t want my smart fridge on my home network, so I definitely don’t need a litter box idling on it, either. You can switch between the different timer durations with a long press, and manually trigger a cleaning with a short press. If you have a cat with loose stools, you should set it at the longest (20 mins). At the same time, adding feline probiotics to our cat’s diet solved most of the loose stool problem.The Litter: When we got this, we’d already invested in several large tubs of tidy cat clay litter of various varieties. Not using them wasn’t an option. The clay litter ranged in weight and features. We discovered that most of it was not a great match when our cats started wetting the box in the same spot: right in front of the metal teeth. When it ran, the teeth would dig down, get stuck on the heavy clump of litter, and error out. For a week or so, I fully despaired that our automatic litter box experiment was at an end. But miraculously, the very last variety of tidy cat litter (instant action) worked perfectly. No more getting stuck on clumps. Even if we neglected the box for a day or so, the box would keep on running until it ran out of litter. I’m sure there’s other light litters specifically designed for automatic litter boxes, but I don’t have the bandwidth to experiment. The bottom line is, the type of litter you choose is your most important factor.Extra Tools: Early on, I picked up a few more cleaning tools for the weeks in between deep cleaning, and it was the right call. I bought a little silicone spatula (for cleaning little clumps out the teeth and clearing litter from the gear tracks), a silicone toilet brush I could use to scrub the box’s metal teeth and various messes (silicone is very easy to keep clean), and some heavier duty litter bags. The bags that come with the litter box are a bit weaker than the bulk options you’ll find with a quick search.Gears: Sometimes the gears would squeak or creak, even to the point of stopping a few times. After ensuring nothing was stuck in them, a little spray of wd-40 took care of the problem. A scentless gear oil would probably work better for cats.So, thus far, we’ve made it work well and stand up to a real beating. I’d say the weakest part of the litter box is the flap that goes over the trash bin. While it is flexible and meant to bend a little when snapping it back into place, I do occasionally worry that I’ll break it in half one day. But hands down, the box was worth the investment, was a relatively good deal at less than $250, still beats the space pods, and we’d definitely buy it again.

Perfect For First Timers
When it came to an automatic cat box, I was very thorough in the research I did to get one. I have an older cat who’s around 16 years old, so I didn’t want to get anything too different from her regular cat box. Finding this one was a blessing. I was hooked on the reviews and knew I needed to try it. And my expectations were met! It was easy to hook up and set up on the app. I like that it still looks like a traditional litterbox just with bigger walls. I was worried my older cat would avoid it like the plague because it was new and different. But she used it without any problems! I also like that if the scooping mechanisms senses anything in front or behind it, it immediately stops. It doesn’t slow down and stops without delay. This wasn’t anything my cats tested. I had accidentally overfilled it so while testing how well it scoops, I was also scooping out anything extra. If my hand came too close to it, it IMMEDIATELY stopped. I don’t suspect my cats would ever be in the litter box 5-10 minutes after using it, but it’s a good ease of mind knowing it will stop. It’s also easy to clean! A 5 minute timer wasn’t enough for my cats so I switched it to 10 minutes. But before that, there was a smear of grossness along the side. It was able to clean it up easily even without knowing how long it had been there! I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to try having an automatic litterbox. 🙂

大手メーカーのドラム式を3年程使ってからの買い替えです、去年新たに保護した元野良が軟便気味で砂かけしてくれないのでドラム内部の汚れが酷く洗浄の手間が増えてました、もともとドラムの洗浄は大変だったので今回はフラットなタイプでバラせて水洗いできるものを探しつつ値段が決めてでこちらの製品を購入、まだ使い始めたばかりですが軟便の猫もすぐに活用してくれたうえにスペースが広いからか砂かけもしっかりやってくれました。動作は少しゆっくりすぎるところがありますが、稼働率を見て自動清掃を時間指定にして稼働の回数を調整するのもありかなと。後は耐久がどれだけ持つか気になるとこですが現時点では買って良かったと思います。

成猫2匹と子猫1匹でも全然余裕。ゴミ処理は週1回でOKだし、常に清潔に保てるので猫たちも快適そうです。「もっと早く買えばよかった」と思うほど満足しています！

使って2ヶ月くらいで突然停まってしまい動かなくなりました。壊れるのはしょうがないと思います。その後のメール対応が素晴らしくその日のうちに新品に交換してくれることになり、2日後には届きました。親切かつ信用できる会社だと思います。
