Stops the chewing!
The donkeys in our pasture with my horse have been eating his tail. My heart SANK! We braided his tail and put a tail bag on, and the donkey tried to chew on it again. So we bought this, sprayed it on the outside of his tail bag, and BOOM. She quit trying to eat his tail.So now we work on growing back his tail, but meanwhile, this has prevented our mischievous donkey from chewing on my horse’s tail and tail bag.Be warned, it’s like pepper spray, so spray away from yourself and away from it blowing into your face. Also, wash your hands immediately afterwards.

Very effective, works like a charm
I use this product on the cross ties at my barn for my six-year-old gelding who has picked up a bad cribbing habit from another horse. As soon as he placed his mouth on the cross ties to crib he immediately let go of the cross ties that was coated with this spray. From that day forward he hasn’t cribbed since I’ve first used this product, highly recommend for those who have a horse with a cribbing habit. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Finally! A repellent that works!
This stuff is amazing! My equine beaver will not go near it. I have tried other products and they have been marginal at best. I am using it on wood fencing. My only cautionary note is do not breath this stuff in (ventilation!) and do not get it on your hands (lips, nose, eyes, etc.). I wear gloves when I apply it now as it is very irritating (just like ghost peppers to me).

I have used this for years. It definitely works to prevent horse from chewing things they shouldn’t.

Does not come with the spray top
The product works great and have bought it before at a local store. When buying here just know that it does not come with the spray top on it, just a regular cap.

Will cause intense skin burning sensation on horses and humans when coming in contact with skin.
This product would do well on wraps/etc. but be sure to not get it anywhere near skin of your animals or yourself. We had a little bit get on the skin of one of our horses and he showed pretty intense reactions. We ended up having to rinse him with water for a good bit before he would calm down. I got a little bit on me while trying to apply it and I understand what he was going through. I had an intense burning sensation for about 2 hours.

I put this on my hot dogs and it packs quite a punch. You can also rub it in someone’s eyes if you don’t like them too much.
