Waited Decades to buy this cage and the boys, our Blue and Gold and Hyacinth Macaws ,
It took my husband two days to put this cage together but we have waited decades to be able to provide our macaws with such an amazing indoor cage. My husband first bought two horse stall rubber mats for the flooring. He then built the cage around the rubber matts into the family room of our brand new Florida home. Once our responsibilities to take care of my aging, stage 4 cancer parents was complete, we moved across the country from Oregon to Florida to provide our boys a better life.We got our Blue and Gold Aries first, followed by a 6 month approval process of purchasing Hercules, our Hyacinth . We purchased them but not until we had months of supervised training including hand feeding and Macaw husbandry. We don’t have children so the two of us provide attention and stimulation to our boys as they need while they are awake. It’s demanding and Macaws are not for just any random animal lover, but now that they are 100% dependent on us, we adore them and except that they will outlive us. In Florida it was much easier to find them their next homes , God willing, if we die before them. Frankly I don’t have one family member or one friend who understands our deep devotion and love for Aries and Hercules, but when you know they are precious beings, it’s easy to pass over the loud noises and just be grateful for their individual qualities and how much you love them. This cage, a Christmas gift for us all is worth every cent. I waited decades to buy this and although the directions are a bit confusing, I believe you won’t be disappointed. Especially if your birds love it as much as our Macaws.

Not suitable for birds. We had three days rain and it’s already rusting BAD!! Metal poisoning is the worst for birds….

Almost perfect – Just needs better locks
This walk-in aviary is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly sturdy. It’s spacious, well-constructed, and gives my Macaws plenty of room to move, climb, and play. The materials are heavy-duty and definitely made to last—it’s clear this is a high-quality setup.However, I had to take off one star because of the locks. My Macaws figured out how to open and break them on day one. These birds are smart and strong, and unfortunately, the included locks just weren’t up to the challenge. I ended up replacing adding bird proof locks for safety and peace of mind.Aside from that, I genuinely love everything about this aviary. Assembly was straightforward, it looks fantastic in my garage, and most importantly, my birds love it.If you’re buying for larger parrots, I’d highly recommend upgrading the locks—but the enclosure itself is fantastic.

You pay for what you get
I searched couple of weeks for a good flight cage for my macaw. The top priority is the quality of the wire and the locker. This cage is double priced than other cages that recommended by Amazon, but IT IS REALLY HEAVY DUTY and HIGH QUALITY. There’s no way for the Macaw to break the wires, or even bending the wires. She is thrived in the new cage. I highly recommend this product for who needs the good quality cage for the big birds. The shape of the cage is elegant.One recommendation , the product coming with 3 big boxes, really heavy, it’s better to install them from the bottom, and the top piece connection needs two people working together. The installation isn’t a easy job if you want every pieces connected perfectly.

Nice aviary
Beautiful aviary. A bit challenging to assemble but looks great and is nice quality. Has rubber feet. We installed on a concrete slab under a patio cover for our cockatoo. Plenty big.
