THIS IS THE BEST DOG CONE COLLAR OF ALL TIME!
If you have a Korean Jindo dog, this is the best collar for post-surgery or seasonal skin allergies they could go through. I’ve tried over 10 comes for my dog, and this is the only one that works.Jindos are escapists and my dog found ways to take off the donut collar, Elizabethan plastic collar, and even the ones the vet gives. But whoever made this collar is a dog product genius. The cushion adds comfort for when they sleep with it. The collar holds the cone in place so the dog can’t shake it off like a buffalo. And the clear edges allows them to view their surroundings. The edges are lined with cloth to prevent the plastic hurting the dogs neck. This is a wonderful and fool-proof product that has helped my dog heal from her skin allergies. Definitely all dog owners should have a great come ready on hand for when their pet has allergies to avoid vet costs and visits down the road.

NON-RETURNABLE – buyer beware!
Very disappointed! I bought this because my vet didn’t like the idea of the donut one I had. My dog didn’t mind that one at all. I tried to put this on her and she immediately started rubbing her head, where her stitches are and shaking it profusely to get it off. I took it off and put it right back in the box to return then tried to and it says it can’t be because it’s a food item! Ridiculous! I will be donating it to a shelter, hopefully they have better luck with another dog. If you don’t know if your dog will be adaptive to it or not, don’t take the chance. Incodbetly, we used the donut and she was perfectly fine.

Pick this one!
I bought like 4 cones and finally found one I like for my 60lb Labrador Retriever. This cone is soft around the neck, but is firm on the outside half toward the snout. The plastic goes into the soft fabric cushion. It’s not just sewn to the edge of the fabric, so it gives a good sturdy shape that prevents the dog from licking. It has loops for a collar to go through to keep it on. Also the Velcro is good! Nice and wide strip of both sides of the Velcro (unlike some other cones). If you are looking for a soft, sturdy cone – this is it!

Does the job!
We have a large dog that weight about 90 lbs. We are on our third one of these cones. Only because he is very active and runs/rolls in the mud so I have to wash it all the time, I got tired of doing it so we bought extras. It helps from him licking his leg while it heals from his surgery. It’s also nice and padded for comfort. Highly recommend.

I wish it worked for our dog!
This review is purely based on my own dog’s behavior and not the product itself. We purchased this for our 55 pound Irish Terrier, hoping to replace his plastic cone (he’s just about surgically attached to me and, honestly, I was tired of half moon bruises on the backs of my legs). I was excited for this cone because of it’s soft edges! Unfortunately, his ire for cones made him determined to get this off, and he figured out almost immediately how to pry it over his head using the arm of the couch. We tried a few things to make it more difficult for him to fling off, but with no luck. The design is great – just not for my wild Irish boy. I was disappointed that it couldn’t be returned.

Not For My Dog
I don’t have extensive experience with E-Collars, so can only address how it worked for my dog.I tried 5 different collars on her when she had an infection on her front paw that we needed to stop her from licking. The other collars were too short, too huge and floppy, too long and inflexible, etc.The collar I’m reviewing here had a short trial run. The cone on this collar is VERY stiff and flares out pretty wide, so she was not able to maneuver through her dog door. Also, the velcro patch is HUGE, and the noise really set her off when pulling it open. If your dog doesn’t mind super-loud velcro, and can maneuver with a wide, stiff collar, this may work for you. It seems very well made, but it just didn’t work for my dog.I finally settled on the Allroaring Dog Cone Collar from Amazon. You can see my review of that collar at the listing.

Design and NonReturnable
The design seems to thick and heavy on the padding which is concerning of the weight on dogs head. Also a dog can’t see to well with it on. Great concept but need some improvement. Also not right you can’t return it when unused.
