How do I measure my dog for the right size?
Measure – Chest Girth: The widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs. Neck Girth: Around the base of your dog’s neck. Back Length: From the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

If you want a good cool down for your dogs walks then I highly recommend this vest!
I wanted to find something for my 100lb Am-Staffy that would protect him from the sun but also cool him down. It’s hot in southern California and my boy comes back from his walks panting and takes a while to cool down. The best way I found using this vest that works for my dog is wetting it, ringing it out, then putting it in the freezer 20 mins or so before his walks. I like to get it a tad frozen. He’s worn it four times since we got it last week and it’s one of the best things I could have bought for him. We take longer walks and the vest stays wet/damn the whole time. This is why I like putting it in the freezer bc it keeps it colder. I noticed a huge change in his walks when we get back home he’s not as hot, cools down way faster, it’s easy to use, and it’s adjustable which is great. The color is exactly what the picture shows. Overall what the vest says it offers it does. No lies told! I got the largest size offered and it fits my dog perfectly! If you’re looking for a cool down for your fur baby while outside I highly recommend this vest. Over functionality is great!Another great tip is allowing your dog to wear the vest a few minutes in the house before going outside and keeping it on a few minutes after getting back home.

It worked well to keep my cat cool
My cat loves to go for rides and his little pet stroller. However it has been so warm lately that he has not been able to go out. He is just like a little kid when he doesn’t get his outside time. A patient at my work told me about this product and so I ordered it for him. Today was the first day that we have used it. My cat is very good about letting me know when he is uncomfortable in any way. I put this little jacket on him and took him out for a walk. It was very humid when we went out. And he didn’t meow at me once to show that he was in any discomfort. I ordered the small, thinking that a medium might be too big for him. However I think I could have ordered a medium and it would have fit him just fine. I’m happy because with this product he can have a little bit of outside time which will make him happy. The only reason I gave this four stars is because I’ve only used it once.

Tie up your dog first
I’m so disappointed in my dog and myself. She gets too hot playing with her giant ball outside so I thought i would run out and put this on her. I got one side buckled and I was trying to put her back leg through the back loop, but she took off ripping it to shreds. We didn’t even get a single wear out of it. $30 wasted. I’m just going to shave her. Great product, good quality, perfect fit when we tried it on in the house before wetting. My dogs ruin everything and they cost a fortune. I got a 2xl for a 50lb English Bulldog.Update- i bought another one. I couldn’t shave her without buying a tranquilizer gun and buying another Cooling Vest was cheaper. The videos are of her with the replacement vest. For some reason Amazon didn’t give me the option to review the 2nd vest separately. It sits back a smidge farther than the first vest- but i never got to see how the first one fit once it was wet, so it may be the same. I remember the first one fit perfectly and stopped before her tail, this one goes over her tail just a bit and looks just a bit looser in the neck. We’re using it anyway, it’ll do.

My dog graded this! She did not care for it and rolled on her back til it was removed. I frozecit hut thought it stayed cool for maybe 20 minutes.

Seems to keep my dog cool!
Have now used it on a hike and while in the backyard in 90+ degree temps. My dog seems to like it and pant less while wearing it. I was worried that the straps under her legs would cause irritation but they have not. She is a 68lb boxer mix who is long with a barreled chest. She fits perfectly in a 3XL, the same size as a pair of dog pajamas I’ve purchased from Spark Paws.I soaked the vest in water and placed it in the fridge before going outside. It stayed cool to the touch for at least two hours. I have not tested it for longer periods of time yet.Spark Paws has fantastic quality products and everything I’ve purchased through them has been great!

Update: also now have the Medium for a small JRT type dog of 6kg. Great product!Bought the 3XL size for my border collie. She gets hot very quickly due to her age and a lung condition.This fits very nice and stays in place with the leg elastics.It has a fairly wide chest piece which helps with cooling.It has stopped her overheating on hot days when we have a walk or on car journeys.Appears very comfortable.

Wir sind sehr froh, haben wir diese Kühlweste gekauft. Sie hilft unserer Hündin bei dem heissen Wetter super gut. Wir haben Grösse M genommen. Wobei wir laut Grössenbeschreibung die S hätten bestellen sollen. Die Grösse M genau gut, L wäre aber auch gegangen. Also sicher eine Grösse grösser oder sogar zwei.
