Single-Ingredient Bison Lung Treats That Both Dogs Accepted Easily
I ordered the TREATOPIA Bison Lung Nuggie Treats in the 8-oz bag. These are the type of simple, single-ingredient treats we actively look for for our Shiba Inus. According to the product information, the bison are raised, harvested, and processed within 500 miles of the Omaha, Nebraska, facility, and the treats are hand-trimmed.These treats contain one ingredient — bison lung — with no additives, fillers, or preservatives. They are grain, soy, and gluten-free. The pieces come in a variety of sizes, and the larger ones are easy to break or cut into smaller portions if needed. The odor is mild and not unpleasant.Acceptance was excellent. Even our very picky red Shiba showed immediate interest and took the treat without hesitation, which is unusual for him. Our black-and-tan Shiba also sniffed and ate the treat right away. Both dogs were eager for more, and the treats did not cause any issues for them.Overall, these are clean, simple, high-protein treats made with minimal processing and thoughtful sourcing. Based on quality, ingredient transparency, and how well they were received, this is a treat we plan to keep on hand and order again. Five stars.

Crunchy and dogs eat them slowly!
These are a nice healthy treat for my Chihuahuas. I’ve recently learned how dangerous cooked bones are, as well as rawhide. These are natural, healthy and small and easy for them to chew. They are of course protein which is really nutritious. You get a lot of nuggets for the price so they are affordable in comparison to how many bones I would have to give to replace each one of these individual pieces. I feel safe giving these to my pets and this might save me an expensive vet visit over the other treats I’ve been giving them. These are crunchy and the dogs don’t gobble them down but take their time when eating them. Recommend.

Crunchy little treat for dogs
My dog really enjoyed the Bison Lung Nugs. I’ve purchased other items from Treatopia before and never had any problems. These crunchy little nuggets are perfect size for medium to large dogs. They are like a puffy little treat. Although the packaging recommends just one per day I give him a couple, but not daily. I have a large German Shepherd, and they’re a great snack size for him, as shown in my pictures, you can see the size of them next to his snout. They do have a bit of an odor, but that’s common with treats like these, and dogs don’t seem to mind a smelly snack anyway. I like that these are made in the USA from one ingredient. I got an 8oz bag and although that doesn’t sound like much, they are very light, so the bag is a good size and should last a while especially if you are only giving the one treat a day like they recommend. This is about what you would expect to pay for an item like this.

One Nugget a Day (According to the Bag… and My Wallet)
These bison lung nugget treats are, without question, my dogs’ absolute favorite snack and they make that opinion very clear. The second I open the bag, I’m met with intense eye contact, wagging tails, and the kind of excitement that suggests I’ve just revealed a five course meal. The package recommends giving only one nugget per day, which my dogs strongly disagree with and regularly challenge. That said, these nuggets are a bit pricey so it’s probably a good thing that you stick to the one per day rule. Think of them as a premium, high value reward rather than an everyday free for all snack. Given the quality, it feels justified. They’re handmade in the United States and manufactured in Nebraska, which gives me confidence that I’m giving my dogs something thoughtfully produced and safe. Overall, these bison lung nuggies are a big hit in our house. They’re healthy, high quality, and apparently irresistible. Just don’t expect your dogs to understand the concept of budgeting they’ll happily convince you that one more nugget is absolutely necessary.

High quality dog treats; Great for training
I’m really impressed with these bison lung treats. The pieces are lightweight and airy with a nice crunch, and they’re easy to break apart, which makes them great for training or quick rewards throughout the day.I’m very cautious about what I give my dog, so I appreciate how simple and clean the ingredient list is, it’s just bison lung. They’ve been easy on my dog’s stomach and haven’t caused any issues, even with more frequent use during training sessions.The size of the treats is perfect. You can give a full piece as a higher value reward or snap them into smaller bits. My personal experience with these treats I have not had any problems when breaking them in half, they did not turn crumbly. They also don’t feel greasy or overly dry, which I really like.Overall, this is a great option if you are looking for some new high quality dog treats!

My dogs love these, and they don’t smell absolutely terrible
Surprisingly the smell isn’t that bad when comparing to most dog treats. My dogs like them, although occasionally there will be one or two pieces they don’t want to eat for some reason. These are freeze dried, so they crumble up when you try to break them apart, so bear that in mind. I realize this is freeze dried organ meat, but it is fairly expensive for an 8 ounce bag in my opinion. If you are looking for something different for your dogs these are something to try.

This is an 8 oz package of single-ingredient dried bison lung nuggets, made in the USA. Despite the measured ounces, this is a BIG bag with a LOT of treats. The description says they are slow-roasted. They are the texture of air-dried or freeze-dried treats – extremely light and crunchy. The size of the treats varies widely. Many can be easily broken into smaller pieces. I could not break some of the larger, thicker pieces. Even my elderly, picky small dog loves these. He is missing many teeth but can eat the smaller pieces.These treats are less expensive than they seem since there are so many treats in the bag. I always consider where treats are made. These are both sourced and made in the USA, which is important to me.
