Excellent Cat Entertainment!
This is a great cat toy!! It’s fast, hardy, & can change directions on its own. It gets itself out of corners & away from things that block it. The cats are fascinated! It has 2 speeds. The slower one is good on hard floors, but the faster one is better for carpets. It keeps going for quite awhile on one charge, & is simple to recharge. One drawback is that when it does stop moving, if it’s gone under furniture, you have to go looking for it! Have a yardstick handy to swipe under couches, etc, to get it back. Or just ask the kitties to go fetch the toy! Great product.

Pretty nice cat toy.
One of my cats absolutely loves these. The other doesn’t really care. The battery last long enough to wear him out. The work how I was expecting them too and I feel are a great value for their quality. The only drawback is they’re kinda loud on my wood floods. I expect carpet wouldn’t be so noisy.

Great cat toy
My cat loves this thing. On a full charge it runs easy 30 minutes. Some reviews state it dies off after 10 minutes, they may not know it will pause when stuck. All you have to do is push in the side and it clicks right back on. Also, if you double click it goes into hyper mode, which my cat goes crazy for. it is a little slower on carpet, but not much. Does fantastic on solid floors.

Menace to a peaceful home
I bought this for my cat who is home alone a lot, thinking it’ll be great fun to keep him entertained. I work nights and arrived home very tired at 6am to the amazon delivery so I figured I’d fire up this little rascal and see how the cat liked it. The buttons on it are very confusing. I was trying to put it into slow mode and “smart” mode where it stops moving if it’s not being toyed with. Fast forward about an hour into my much needed snooze and I hear what sounded like a gunshot from my kitchen. This thing took off on the kitchen floor at mach jesus into my stainless fridge and put a dent in it like John Daly tee’d up a Pro V1 after 19 coors lights. As I go to grab it to shut it down it blasts off in the opposite direction striking my bare foot and launching like it was coming off a dirt bike ramp. It hit the wall about 3 feet in the air and came to rest in the other room. I was finally able to corral it but could never get it to full turn off. Every time I thought it was turned off I’d set it down and it shot off like Lightning McQueen again. I ended up putting it under the couch cushion so I could go back to sleep. 3 stars – I had great fun with it…idk where the cat was the whole time

The Speedy 2.0 Tail Cat Toys are a total game-changer for my indoor cat! We tried the blue and orange 2-pack, and both toys were a hit right out of the box. As soon as I turned one on, the automatic moving ball with its playful tail had my cat chasing, pouncing, and fully entertained.The motion mimics real prey, keeping her attention way longer than most toys. The tails flutter and bounce around unpredictably, which really taps into her natural hunting instincts. It’s the perfect way to keep her active, especially when I’m busy or out of the house.Battery life has been solid, and the durable build holds up well to all the attacks! If your cat needs more stimulation or tends to get bored easily, I highly recommend this 2025 upgrade. Fun, fast, and feline-approved! 🧡💙😺

Some good, lots of not so good
A mixed bag on this. Negatives first: The charge does not last long and diminishes over time. The toy gets jammed up with fur from rolling over carpets. The velocity of this very hard little ball can do damage to furniture legs, people’s feet, and can really cause some pain to any unsuspecting cat in the toy’s unpredictable, erratic path. The “tail” attachments would be life-threatening if the toy is caught and ingested. (I coat it with a “Stop the Bite” nail polish to make it taste nasty.) My larger cat was catching it when the charge was waning, proudly carrying his capture away by that dangerous tail with the (eeek) easily broken small plastic hook that attaches the tail to the ball, which, of course, is yet another cat and child hazard. The instructions come with a disclaimer to avoid liability, so this is definitely not a “charge it to keep cat entertained while you do something else” type of toy. If you do look away when the charge dies, you may never find it again. It would be nice if there were a warning sound when it is about to expire somewhere (like under the grandfather clock or behind the attached entertainment center.) Positives: easily charged, moves in erratic fashion like prey, noisy so easy track, even in dim light. That said, my female is terrified of it after it slammed into her once, and does not like the weird noise it makes.

Terrific cat fun!
This is a GREAT cat toy. I got one for my cat. I live remotely in Alaska so my cat gets lots of stimulus going outdoors. Encounters with bears have happened on occasions. But as the weather has changed and he’s getting older, he has been spending more time inside. So I bought these for new stimulus. It was an immediate hit! First he was just perplexed. Then it became a routine for us to fire it up around my cocktail time. Since it all went so well with my guy, I sent them to my son’s cats (grandcats) that are inside only cats in St. Louis – and to my granddaughter’s cats (great grandcats) also inside only in Chicago. They arrived; I get a Facetime request from both my son and granddaughter. it was so much fun! So many unexpected personality traits showed up. This is one of my all time better purchases. Oh, I forgot this, at one point my son was wondering if one of his cat needed oxygen – not really – just being funny.
