Sticky stickies that work well indoors!
The stickies work very well for my x-large senior girl. It helps her get some traction on my low pile carpeting, keeps her hind paws from slipping out from under her and makes it safer for her to climb carpeted steps. Because she shuffles when she walks, the stickies will start to shred on sidewalks and roads.They really stick and you need to be cautious when taking off to not injure the pads.

They work but don’t last
These definitely helped my senior dog walk on smooth surfaces. Unfortunately as others have pointed out, the adhesive is not great and they fall off easily. Clean the paw pads before application helps.

No More Slipping for Senior Dogs!
This review is long overdue, and I literally never leave reviews for anything. But this one was important for any fur parent(s) to senior pups who are looking for a solution to the dreaded slipping that comes with old age. I first ordered these about 2 years ago for my boy who was battling dementia (he was pacing a lot); he was 16 and was slipping all the time on the hardwood. These little stickers provided enough grip for him that he could walk comfortably. He unfortunately passed away in March 2024 (one month shy of turning 17), but I know these helped him; I could see the difference. Fast forward to now, my baby girl is 16 yrs 8mths and has been slipping a lot recently. She also has IVDD and we just came back from an ER vet trip this past week after she was obviously in a lot of pain from her back. She was unable to walk for almost 2 days, I thought she was paralyzed and was worried that this was the end of the road for her. Thankfully, within two days, she did start walking again (wobbly and slowly), but I was nervous about her slipping. I laid blankets and towels all across the exposed hardwood to limit any slipping and I immediately went back onto Amazon and ordered a new set of these stickers. She’s now been wearing a pair for 2 days and they are working wonderfully. Thankfully she’s back on her feet entirely, she’s able to walk around comfortably and these little stickers have given her such good grip. I haven’t seen her slip once, and I removed all the blankets and towels that I put down, so she’s walking on the exposed hardwood with ease. I have to be extra cautious with her given her IVDD, I don’t want her to slip and hurt herself, which is what I’m assuming happened earlier this week when we had to go to the ER vet. For reference, I got the M size for both of my dogs; my boy was a JRT, about 14 lbs, and the M size was a little big for him. I did have to cut them down a little bit. But the M size is perfect for my girl, who is a furry Lhasa Apso, about 13 lbs. Her paws are a little bigger than my boys’ were, so that’s probably why the M fits her better. I am so grateful for these little stickers, I didn’t want to get her booties because I know she hates those. The stickers are stretchy and super breathable as well.

Great but a little small
When my sweet old man was nearing end of life, moving was increasingly more difficult for him, especially on our hard wood floors. He was a black lab german shepherd mix, about 85lbs so we purchased the XXL size. They still felt a little small in my opinion, and we had to place them slightly back on the front toe beans so he’d have more of the grip on his large pad. I would absolutely recommend making sure those grinchy beans are shaved down so hair doesn’t get stuck in the adhesive and pull!The grips are very soft and flexible. It did appear to give him more purchase to stand up, but I can’t speak to their full capabilities since he still needed assistance, with or without them. I did feel like he skittered a little less once we had these on him.They are very thin so while these worked for our purposes, I wouldn’t rely on these for use on hot sidewalks/roads, I don’t think they’d provide much if any paw protection. As for durability, they lasted quite a few days with each application but if they are for a more active dog, probably not great. My boy was essentially bed ridden so other than a few trips outside, they weren’t getting tested out much. If any amount of mud is introduced, I feel fairly confident they would need changed daily. The few times they got a little wet, they seemed to peel off very quickly.Our boy hated his feet being touched and would let you know about it and he was compliant with these being put on. He didn’t do the awkward dog steps that you see when boots are put on them but I can’t say if it was because they were comfortable or if he just didn’t have the energy to protest.If you have another brat of a dog like we do, be warned when these start to peel, they can be pulled off fairly easily. Our puppy loved to “help” by taking these off our eldest anytime he noticed this -_-

These are brilliant. My dog seems to not know he has them on. They come off when running around in wet grass which is to be expected otherwise they stay on. Life saver for dogs with grip issues

Excelente, realmente ayuda al perro a no resbalarse, y a poder levantarse mejor, teniendo problemas de movilidad debido a una lesión medular. Sí preferiría que el precio fuera algo inferior porque duran muy poco, el perro se las mordisquea y, en mi caso, hay que cambiarlas a diario. Aún así, no creo que le molesten para nada (porque él se mordisquea de todas maneras), y le ayudan muchísimo. Respecto a mi perro, que no es de pelo corto, es mejor recortar los pelitos de los deditos, antes de pegarlas, porque si no, al quitarlas, le tiran de los pelitos y le molesta. En fin, un producto muy acertado, lo volveré a comprar. Una gran idea.
