I am a big fan of this portable crate! I used to travel with my dog’s huge metal crate, which was very heavy took up so much room in the car, even folded. It barely fit, and it just made road trips a pain. I bought this portable crate for easier travel, and it definitely delivered. It’s light and easy to transport and simple to unpack/set up and to pack back up. Comes with a nice mat with removable cover for easy washing, as well as a carrying case. This extra large size fit my 87 pound dog perfectly. This was a great purchase, and I would definitely buy again!

This is a great product and something I’ve desperately needed for several years.
I got this the afternoon of the morning I went on my long trip. Would have been spectacular.Currently I need to crate my doodle while in the car, she doesn’t have the ability to relax. She’s wired the whole trip. The problem with that is that the crate is very hard, and very plasticy. She’s cut herself on it before while jumping in. From a perspective of her not hurting herself, this already wins.My trips generally involve me driving ~2 hours to my boarder, I need something to keep my dog safe and comfortable during this trip. This will be so, so, so much better than the hard plastic crate. I didn’t get a chance to use it, but I already love it. The best part is unlike my crate, I can collapse this into a smaller space! That value in that alone makes this item fantastic. Also, I can fit more than one animal and they can travel in comfort. This is a great product and something I’ve desperately needed for several years. All the different openings and options. I also plan to use this in a pinch as a kitten playpen. There’s so many needs this product hits.

I like this large dog crate it comes in so handy and I can also break it down and store it really nicely away so it doesn’t take up so much space.I’m always rescuing an animal in need whether it’s a dog or a cat or a possum or a bat. I always have a need for an animal crate.This has visibility on three sides which I really love so the animal can see out or we can always put a blanket on it and cover it up so they can’t see out so much but for the most part so they can feel comfortable and see.The screening is a very good quality it’s not something that’s flimsy and going to a scratch and break instantly the zipper quality is very nice this will also not break so you can be assured whatever animal you put in here Will will likely stay and of course there are exceptions to this rule because it is a collapsible dog crate.So all in all I find this Veehoo dog crate of top quality and a good price point for this exceptional tool to help animals get from point A to Point Z…

If I were going to use this Veehoo Large, “Portable” dog crate on a camping trip or an outdoor dog show / trial where I needed to carry it from the car even more than a couple hundred feet, I would have given this just 3 stars. It is Crazy Heavy.However, I ordered it to keep in the back of our van so that we always have a crate available, but that doesn’t take up as much spaces as a fold down, metal crate.If I expected it to truly get up and running within 30 seconds, as is advertised, I would also have dropped to 3 stars. The first time we assembled it was with a dog-training client who had forgotten his crate. This crate had just arrived, and it was still in the box. When he saw it, he said, “OH! I know how this sort of assembly works, I have another product (for his kids) that is just like this.” He was very confident and set out to get it up and functional. Still, it took him several minutes, even with my husband taking a few directions from him to add a bit of assistance. He was on his knees the whole time, sometimes sticking most of his body into the crate to get it up.My husband has bad knees and I use a wheelchair, so it would be very difficult for my hubby to remain on his knees as long as our younger client was while he set up the crate.Again, I ordered it to have a LARGE size crate (which took up very little space) in our dog van in the event we need to set it up in an emergency. We can set it up in the side door of the van and wouldn’t have to be on the ground to get it up.I’m giving this 4 star rating because it will meet my needs, even though it is probably too heavy for most women and many men to carry very far… and even though I think the product description should be altered to adjust the 30 second set up claim.The materials are of good quality and this will meet my needs within my expectations.
