Great heating lamp!
This heat lamp works perfectly for keeping my mom’s chickens warm and cozy with no hassle. It’s well-built, waterproof, and super easy to install. I like this lamp better than a regular bulb. Feels like it’s giving off more evened out heat. We use it for chicken coop, but it also suits other small animals like rabits, etc.

Beware if used for dogs who chew
We used this heater for our dog who has to stay outside due to extreme high energy issues. It worked pretty well. Didn’t put out as much heat as I thought it would but worked pretty well. Our dog ended up chewing the cord into two pieces so it no longer works. Not completely surprised because he is a very destructive dog. We did try hanging the cord up above his house and out of the pen but he pulled it in and chewed it up overnight. We got to use it about a week before then. Would not recommend for dogs who chew.

I’m using this heat lamp for my young chickens, and it works perfectly. They’re still small, so I keep the lamp lower, and it keeps their coop nice and warm. When they grow more, I can raise it higher and it still heats the whole area really well. It’s also great for colder days — I just plug it in and it warms their sleeping spot perfectly. My chicks love it!

The only way I could see this being beneficial is maybe for a small cage besides for that it doesn’t produce much heat at all
