Wonderful!!
These are wonderful filters.Yes, the water flows seems to be a tad diminished, but just a tad and my kitties don’t seem to have a problem with it. I think this may be due to there being more charcoal in the filter than other filters – I could be mistaken, but I believe this means it’s doing a better job at filtering the water?As for the charcoal dust – after giving the filters a very good initial rinse before they’re installed (I rinse, shake, rinse – & repeat 3 or 4 times), I’m not seeing any further charcoal dust. Other filters I’ve purchased (including the name brand) have continuously put out charcoal dust no matter how much I’ve rinsed them beforehand. Doesn’t seem to be a concern with these filters and I’ve now used 4 of the 8 filters.A very good value and I will be purchasing them again.

These work amazing well for keeping all the nasty stuff out of the water as it circulates. Very inexpensive for what they do for my kitties and keeping their water fresh. Easy to install and does not negatively affect the use of the fountain in any way.

I and my cats all like their drinking fountain; it’s important to get cats to drink enough water to keep their kidneys healthy. So I was excited o find these generic filters at a way lower price than the brand name ones. What I found, though, was that with the name brand ones, I can go two or even three weeks before replacing the carbon filters. With these, the water in the fountain is visibly disgusting after just a week.Floating scum, particles, fur. And when I take it apart to clean, the filter feels slimy after that short time. Holding it under the faucet, it appears water only flows over these filters, not through. Also, after a few days, I noticed there wasn’t as much flow through the fountain. I switched back to name brand filters and everything is fine.
