Work for My 3 Fountains with “T” Shaped Spigot, Set Includes 12 Sets of Filters, Great Value
I have 2 – 3.2 liter water fountains for our rescue cats and one 7 liter fountain for our dog, but all the cats use that one too. I clean them once a week and in our area, the tap water is poor for drinking so we use filtered water for our fountains to keep the water fresher longer. Even with filtered water, the filters start to smell musty after 2 weeks. I wash them with Dawn and soak them in a light vinegar solution to lengthen their life, but we still go through these pretty quickly.I find that the sponges last longer than the carbon filter as they are porous, so they are easily washed. The only thing that I find occurs with my sponges is that they stretch out over time. The maker of my 3.2 liter fountain says to change filters every 2 months, but the maker of my 7 liter fountain recommend that you change them monthly. As I change the water weekly, I monitor the carbon filter – if after washing, soaking and rinsing, it is not scent free, I change it.This set will last me about 6 months with the 3 fountains. The set is identical to the filters that came with my fountains and they fit perfectly.I have the stainless steel fountains with the “T” shaped flow spigot that flows water out on 2 sides. I cannot speak to the fit of these on other models these work perfectly on mine. I just had to downgrade the item as the listing does not match the item sent so is not a good value.

Great replacement filters
I have two older 3.2L stainless steel water fountains with the curved hook spout that still work perfectly, but unfortunately the manufacturer no longer sells replacement filters for them. These filters turned out to be an excellent substitute and fit just like the original factory filters.I change filters about every three weeks, which seems to be the sweet spot for our water and number of pets. These replacements lasted just as long as the ones I was previously buying from the manufacturer, with no noticeable difference in performance or water quality. The sponge filters hold up very well and often last slightly longer than the white carbon filters, but even accounting for that, I will still get about five to six months out of a box at the current rate of usage which makes it a great value. The overall quality feels comparable to the original filters I was using, and I have been very pleased with them.I also appreciate that the white filters are individually packaged. That feels cleaner and likely helps keep them fresher compared to being loose in a box. Overall, these are a great option for replacement filters on these type of fountains. They work well, fit perfectly, and are a solid value.

Good quality filters
When I saw these, I forgot exactly which filter I needed for my cat’s fountain. My fault. I have a 108 ounce fountain, similar to those pictured but not exactly the same. Mine takes a blue plastic filter, but the paper filter inside looks similar, but smaller. Conceivably these filters will still work so I’m happy. And the black foam filters that are included are a circular type whereas my fountain takes one that’s a small square, easy to cut to fit. The materials used are all the same though. Basically you unwrap these individually packaged filters, soak them 15 minutes, rinse off and install. There’s nothing wrong with the quality, etc. Just make sure you know which ones you need. I’m still going to use these but perhaps replace them more often since they are smaller. I replace these types of filters every 2 weeks, and clean the stainless bowl and pump every 5 days.

A year’s supply of standard filters
This package of 24 filters is actually a one year supply of a 2-piece filter set, in that both the white and black filters should be changed monthly (depending on usage and location of the fountain, perhaps even more frequently). I’m glad to see them sold in this quantity, as they frequently are sold 8 or 10 sets to the package. It’s nice to know I’m set for the next 12 months.They do appear to be the standard shape and fabrication for the type of cat fountain I have, so I’m sure they will be work out fine. Unfortunately, there is a lot of cellophane used in the packaging: each white filter is individually wrapped, and the black filters are packaged in sets of 4. But this is not unusual for these types of filters. And perhaps the cellophane ensures that the white filters (charcoal based) don’t absorb moisture while being stored or transported.
