Cumbersome to say the least. It’s just little paper pouches with velcro straps. Does it work? Yes…? But the paper is so thin easily rips, as we’ve discovered in the last couple days. I just don’t think this is that useful besides temporary indoor use to prevent… licking maybe?

Thick, durable booties, but slippage is a problem we’ll have to overcome
The video shows how these look/work on my beagle mix. She’s about 25 pounds, and I ordered a medium. I believe this was the correct size because her foot slips into them pretty easily. Anything smaller would have been impossible to get on. As the video shows, however, these slip pretty badly. Maybe I’m not getting them tight enough, but I was afraid of cutting off circulation. Perhaps I’ll get better at it, but this is at least a first look at how they work. She does not have long legs, and I think these are actually a little too long for her, so I might have to cut them off a bit, and then maybe I can secure them a little better. In terms of thickness, they are great. They did not tear while she was out in the yard, but it wasn’t wet, just dirty; still, I think they’ll hold up fine when wet. Keep in mind that these are one-and-done, so this pack of 20 will be 5 trips outside unless they aren’t too dirty to use a second or third time. I got these as a backup for when her regular, non-disposable booties are soaking wet, so they should last a while for me. If you plan to use regularly, these might not be cost effective. The package has 20 booties and 8 velcro strips to hold them on. I have no clue why just 8 strips, but I’ve reused them with no problem.
