The tick remover works great, just slid along the skin and under the tick, the tick lifts right off and stays on the tool. I put the tick in a clear plastic bottle, with a cover..to make sure the head of the tick came out with the body. Before disposing of the bottle, and the tick. OH it works great on people too.

Overall, a good and convenient set. The tweezers are good, but everything else is not sharpened and is almost impossible to use unless you take it to a workshop and sharpen it. But if you do the necessary modifications and sharpening after purchasing it, it works great.

Effective and easy
We went through a period of time where the cats came home with ticks on them regularly and it was a pain to try to get them off. The cats hated and so did we. But this tool took it from being a painful two person job to it being possible to do with one. Still ideal to have one hold and a second remove but that’s so easy, the cats barely noticed we were doing it. It seems like it gets the tick out more completely, resulting in less pain for the animals and less of a wound/scab to heal.
