If the pump stops working or the water flow decreases, it is time to remove the pump, clean it thoroughly, and then properly reinstall the impeller and shaft assembly to restore normal operation. And the pump need to be FULLY SUBMERGED UNDER WATER to work.

Banana for scale
I had my doubts buying this little micro tank, but decided for only $28 why not, it was the closest size that would fit my little shelf. Alot of the reviews made the light look very blue, but it gives off a nice light. I am pretty pleased so far with it. Outside of a betta, shrimp, and snails it won’t be big enough. Alot of the reviews were saying that the water flow was too strong, but I added some extra filter polishing media into the center of the rear filter and the flow is pretty perfect for the little shrimps I had just aquired. I would honestky consider this possibly too small for a betta, but you may be able to get away with this for a baby betta till uograding to something larger. I added a banana for scale. I added some plants from my main tank to see if the light is sufficient enough to foster any growth. Time will tell. But honestly, for something that fits almost perfectly on this shelf it looks really nice. My favorite part is that it is entirely powered by a usb, I plugged it straight into my tv, no problems. I cannot hear it at all, it is super quiet. A little tricky to aquascape due to the narrow size of the fish area. If they made this size 2 inches taller and maybe 4 inches longer, it would be absolutely perfect for my needs. If you have the room for something larger you can certainly find something within this price range. I also like the rounded corners, they are sleek. I could see this being a cute little shrimp setup for a kid. The clips are fine on mine, I didn’t have any issues, they falk out when setting up so you may have to pop ’em back in, however once setup they hold well.

Broken or something else
I prepared it and assembled. I poured water in it and made sure everything is connected and installed properly. I exchanged several adapters, including those for my iPhone – the filter does not work. If it is such a big deal, the seller should have provided its own adapter for this tank. Waste of time and money.

Great lil tanks
These lil tanks are great! Easy to use , good value , look great! And a gallon is plenty of space for babies as I use these for nursery tanks its easy to assemble , the led lights are so bright container is very sturdy and because of the lil power head and filter my baby fry “ Fish health“is excellent with this system

The filter wasn’t working for a few days but it started to work all of a sudden so I will keep it

May not last for a long time
The tank was a good buy for short term needs, the filter did not have the small sponge piece to slow the flow of the water, but I improvised with material at home. The problems I had were that the lid did not stay locked in place very well, would pop off occasionally while lifting the lid. Also, the filter just stopped working after a few months of use. It had been cleaned, I tried letting it dry out and cleaning it, and it wouldn’t turn back on.

1 of 2 filters don’t work.
We bought 2 and 1 the filter doesn’t work. Both setup identical by same person at same time. Water level identical as we confirmed with instructions each step including how full to fill the water. We wanted to believe the reviews might have been user error but seems the filters are not good quality or not packaged well enough to make it safely to the customer. Cute little tank though. Not sure what to do at this point. Might order another one and see if it works and send back the other as defective. Feels like it should be easier to get product support.
