How chew-resistant is the cord? I have a teething puppy who chews everything. What happens if the cord gets damaged?

Great buy for a small animal

Works great! The timer and temp setting work great but must be set each time you turn the unit on and you must turn it on each time you use it. Hit the ON button and the unit is automatically set to 3 of 6. If you want a lower setting you must push the temp button 5 times to get to the next lowest setting. It would be nicer if the settings were sticky so when you turn it on it remembered the last temp and timer setting. It would also be nice if it had an automatic on setting too.But the unit works as advertised and our puppy is quite happy with it.

I have had another cat warmer pad and it stays on an outdoor chair for outside kitties to stay warm in frigid weather. I have had the first one for 2 years. So now I have a backup one. It is very sturdy as I keep it plugged in pretty much all winter

Ordered for my arthritic dog, but it was way smaller than the description said. And then Amazon wants me to pay the return shipping when the info is incorrect on the ad unless I drive a half hour away to drop it off!

I recently got this indoor heating pad for cats and dogs, the 24 x 18 inch size. I got it for my cats and it’s large enough for two of my medium sized petite cats to lay on together or one of my larger cats to stretch out comfortably. It’s also a good size for kittens or a mama cat with her babies to keep them warm if it’s cold.The description says it has an ultra plush cover, but I wouldn’t say it’s ultra plush. It’s soft, but you can feel the heating elements if you press down hard enough. One thing I think the company could improve on is making the padding a little thicker so you don’t feel the elements inside. I do like that the cover is machine washable, and while the heating pad itself isn’t, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth. If you need to disinfect it, you can spray and wipe it clean easily.I like that it has a chew resistant cord and that you can control the temperature. The timer can be set for 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours, but you do have to turn it on manually each time. It says it heats up to 104 degrees, and the warmth feels even across the surface, including the center and edges.I don’t see the wattage listed on this unit, but I’ve used other heating pads made by different companies when traveling in my RV. They’re generally low wattage, but they do drain power, so just be aware of that. I use them with my Jackery power banks, and they will use up energy, so it’s a good idea to have a backup power source to recharge. These are great to have as a backup in case you run out of propane, your furnace goes out, or if you’re boondocking without heat. It’s nice to know your fur babies can still stay warm.I also got this because my home doesn’t warm up evenly in the winter. It’s an older house, and the wood stove doesn’t reach the back rooms very well. The cats usually sleep in the front part of the house where it’s warmer, but I like to set up heating pads in my room or the cat room so they have the option to stay cozy there too. I also have a few of those heated cat houses that I use for indoor cats only, and they really appreciate having those. It gives them a warm little space where they can relax and feel safe. I look for these kinds of products because they’re a cost effective way to help keep your cats warm during cold nights.If you’re getting this for outdoor cats, I wouldn’t recommend it because you have to manually turn it on and set the temperature. For outdoor setups, I prefer the pads that have simple on and off settings, since you can connect those to a smart plug and set a timer.Overall, I’m pleased with this product. It’s soft, dependable, and the heat is consistent. It keeps the cats warm and comfortable, and I’m happy knowing they have a cozy place to curl up when it’s cold out.

Meno male che nel foglietto di istruzioni all’interno (peraltro anche in italiano) l’Azienda spiega chiaramente che questo materassino produce un calore studiato per non dar fastidio al cagnolino prevenendo scottature causate da un eccessivo riscaldamento e, in più, occorre che l’animale stia sopra perché il cuscino si riscaldi, altrimenti i sensori non alzeranno la temperatura. Meno male perché al massimo livello di riscaldamento questo cuscino (poi parliamo anche del cuscino) è appena tiepido e se non avessi letto le avvertenze sul foglietto avrei messo una stella. Capisco che l’animale debba essere preservato da troppo calore, ma a me sembra veramente troppo poco… giusto per togliere il freddo del pavimento, niente più. Per correttezza devo dire che l’ho acceso SENZA farlo provare al cane però, tenuto circa mezz’ora alla massima potenza, come detto, al tatto posso definirlo tiepidino; alle temperature più basse nemmeno ho provato. Poi parliamo della definizione di “cuscino” e dei 7 strati menzionati in descrizione… questa è più che altro una copertina rigida.. da’ l’impressione di quei materassini gonfiabili da campeggio… prima di gonfiarli; oppure altro esempio un materassino sottovuoto che ancora non si è riempito d’aria… quindi non lo definirei ne’ cuscino né materassino, più che altro tappetino. Tre stelle perché la qualità c’è, l’assemblaggio pure ed anche la cura nei particolari (telecomando per la regolazione del calore e del timer, il cavo protetto dai denti del cane, il rivestimento in una specie di microfibra sfoderatile e lavabile con zip nascosta etc), però a me non ha convinto del tutto.

Works really well. You do have to set it every time you turn it on, but honestly, I’d rather have that kind of safe-than-sorry setting. It doesn’t have an auto-on either, which I actually prefer since it means I need to be there to turn it on. If anything goes wrong, I’m around to catch it.I got this for a large, very lazy senior cat and she is absolutely obsessed with it. I figured if I love my heated blankets, she probably would too, and I was totally right. She’s barely touched any of her other beds since we got this, so I’m taking that as a big win.

Lorsque j’ai choisi ce tapis 75×45 cm, j’ai pensé qu’il serait un peu trop grand pour mes chats, mais il est très bien pour que le chat soit à l’aise.Dès que je l’ai mis en place et que j’ai lancé le mode chauffe, j’ai parsemé une toute petite pincée d’herbe à chat en poudre pour attirer le chat. Il s’y est installé aussitôt, mais il y a une légère concurrence vu que j’ai plusieurs chats. Mes chats ne supportent que les niveaux de chauffe au delà de 1 ou 2.Seule la housse de protection douce peut se laver. J’avais cru lire qu’il y en avait une deuxième de remplacement, mais je ne l’ai pas trouvée. La protection de sécurité noire du câble n’est pas très jolie, dommage. Sinon, les chats ont vraiment l’air d’adorer.
