Cuteness overload
My cat is strictly an indoor cat, but I’ve always wanted to take him for outdoor walks when I walk my dog. My cat really doesn’t like the outdoors, but like any cat, he is super curious about everything. I have been seeing these for quite some time and decided my cat just had to explore the world around him.Upon unboxing, I was surprised at how sturdy this thing is – it really is well built. The best feature is the fan to make sure the cat is comfortable. I’ve seen these backpacks in the past with no fan and I’m glad I waited to try this one. I connected my power bank and it worked perfectly.As for my cat, he’s a little under 8 lbs. and fits perfectly inside. He’s not sure what to make of it but I’m sure after some time, it’ll be second nature to him. I can’t wait to use this in the spring!

Cool way to take a small pet on a walk safely, with a fan option for pet comfort
I ordered this backpack for a couple of reasons. First off, my cat really hates cat carriers, so I thought maybe having the big bubble window might make him feel better. Additionally, our kitty loves to go outside, but when we moved, both of our neighbors have big pitbulls and we now have only a short fence in the backyard, so I haven’t been comfortable letting our cat out to play in the backyard. I thought maybe he could get in some safe outdoor time if we took him on walks using this backpack.I had literally just purchased a similar backpack at one of the popular pet retail shops when I saw this available on vine. In comparison to the backpack I bought in person, this one is a just a bit shorter/smaller, but I liked that it seemed to have more depth or be less crowded behind my cat’s head (the one I bought in person has a mesh expansion that ends up a bit in the way of his head when used as a backpack). My cat is about 10 pounds, and I do feel like he’s too big for it. It would be great for a kitten or a petite cat though.I like the fan feature, because I have noticed these backpacks end up having a bit of a greenhouse effect which makes my kitty overheat due to the full sun and low amount of airflow. The fan has three speeds, so you can adjust to find what works best for your pet. The odd thing about the fan though, is that it doesn’t have any kind of battery to it. So you will have to bring a rechargeable battery pack and a USB C cord to make it work.Overall, I think this backpack would be great for short excursions for a kitten, a small cat or tiny dog, or some other small pet (like a small bunny, bearded dragon, etc).

Really cute
This kitty backpack is adorable and works really well…if your cat isn’t too big. If you have a chunkier kitty this might not be a great bag for you. It’s a little small inside and with the clear window, it may end up looking like you’ve got a bowl of cat strapped to your back if your cat is on the heftier side. The included ventilation fan is a thoughtful feature so you don’t have to worry (as much) about your kitty’s comfort. The zippers are nice and secure (very important)…the only challenging thing about this bag is how you get your cat into it…but the bag also delivers there too, with the zipper opening quite wide to give you room to wrangle your cat. Recommended if you’re looking for a fun and contained way to show your cat the world.

Miss Orca isnt a fan sadly! Some design flaws.
Was hoping this would help my indoor cat experience the outdoors in a safer way. Not sure if my cats too big or the bags too small but either way, Orca wasnt thrilled to be in this bag for even a few moments as she seemed pretty squished. I definitely think it would suit a kitten better. The material that the bag is made with is good quality. The straps are thick and well padded, the zippers work well and the bags not too heavy. However the matt that the cat is meant to sit on inside doesnt really fit and is too big for the bottom of the bag, slips upwards and covers the air holes slightly preventing airflow for the cat. Another issue (maybe just with my bag?) Is the fan works well….till you unplug it. I’m not sure if its meant to be designed to work with a small battery pack but if so that’s something that probably should have been mentioned in the description and possibly included in the purchase. Even after being “Charged” all night, the fan on the bag will not turn on unless it remains plugged in to an electrical source. Unfortunately as cute a design as this bag is, I wouldn’t personally spend the money to buy this again. Really great concept though, really sad it didnt work out for us.

Prepare for pet anxiety!
I would only recommend this product for small, docile cats and it should not be used in hot environments or in direct sunlight. The large plastic bubble allows the feline to see things around them, but if left in the sunlight for an extended period, the pack can become an oven. The included fan helps circulate air to keep them cool, but it must be powered, and I have some concerns with long hair cats getting their fur caught in the spinning blades.The pack is relatively small and therefore best carried by someone of a small stature. It doesn’t fit my broad shoulders, and the pack straps are short. After a few minutes of carry, expect the straps to become uncomfortable due the lack of padding. Transitioning the pet and pack onto your back can be awkward due to the shifting “live” load inside that may move about during the process.All-in-all I would say this qualifies as a product that “looks good in theory” but is basically a disappointment, at times boarder line dangerous, and likely a source of anxiety for pets.
