The carrier does not fit under an airline seat. I don’t know how this company can claim that the product is acceptable by airlines.Made the travel experience very uncomfortable.The bottom panel is also not very sturdy.

This is a very sturdy, well-built pet carrier. Every part of it -from the zippers to the material to the design is 5/5 stars! Both one end and the top have zippered ‘doors’ that open on 3 sides creating a large opening for ease of putting your pet in or getting your pet out. The mesh on the sides and top offer visibility and plenty of air flow, but the design also offers a safe, secluded retreat for fearful pets. It includes a removeable, stiff insert for the bottom support – with a soft cover that zippers off for cleaning! This insert is kept in place with very strong velcro so it won’t slip around or move, even if your pet is active in a carrier. The end without the door has 2 zippered pockets that would hold papers and pet supplies (one is the size of the whole side, the other half of that, so very roomy). It has very sturdy handles – two shorter ones on each side and one longer strap that hooks across the top of the carrier for a crossbody or shoulder carry. Two of my cats are not small and fit comfortably in this carrier. We have no intentions of traveling with our cats by plane, so I can’t comment on its airline compatibility. It is less foldable, and more collapsible in my opinion because (unless I’m missing something) I can’t fold it into a neat little package, but I can collapse it into a flatter version of itself. That’s nice if you need to store it in a smaller space, but don’t expect it to fold up into a tiny square – that doesn’t bother me though because it speaks to the thickness and stoutness of the carrier.

Super light weight. Good color. Easy to assemble and folds nicely for storage. Perfect for my 12 lb dog.
