High quality for big travel
Overall a solid, great and versatile backpack. Has been great for air travel (fits under seat and in overhead compartment just fine). Would NOT really recommend for school or as an every day bag due to the way the backpack opens, but a great carry on and general backpack.Pros- small zipper pockets on the inside are nice- feels great on the back and shoulders even when bag is super heavy and stuffed- laptop compartment can fit huge laptops plus more, nice velvety laptop sleeve to separate device from books/notebooks- zipper that goes entirely around the backpack to expand it to full capacity works great, easy to do and undo- shape of the backpack helps it to not fall over when placed on the ground- loop in back contact area that slides over a luggage handle bar works well- handle super sturdy, and the little ribbon loop near it means you can hang it on a hook if empty- water bottle side pockets are actually quite big. I have a wide circumference water bottle that I have to use 2 hands to get in and scootch some inner contents aside, but it actually fitsCons- not enough little pockets for me in an everyday backpack- cannot really access the outermost zip pocket Unless the bag has lots of empty space- wish the laptop compartment had double zippers like the main compartment. Feels awkward to open them differently- zippers glide so easy tbat it’s easy for the entire main compartment to become unzipped to the point where the flap falls outward, meaning any contents you have in the non zip pockets of the inner wall of that outer flap will come sliding out, plus your actual main area bag contents can fall out- one of the plastic pieces on the straps to lock it in place has a flap that doesn’t stay down, it digs into my arm and I repeatedly have to try to push it down- not ideal to be heavy- doesn’t dig in which is nice, but the square shape doesn’t make it easy to haul heavy things inIt’s a great backpack for what it is. I just prefer more structure and more pockets for an every day bag, but I’m currently using this as my “work at a cafe for the day” bag and an oven if it bag since it’s what I have that works best. Easy to throw stuff in and go. I also love that it’s COMPLETELY black minus the silver zippers, No logos and stuff. Although I do wish the expansion zipper was black instead of the same color as the other zippers because I often start unzipping that one when I mean to unzip the zipper for the main compartment.
