Non slip
These are the only things that work for my dogs paws. He’s 14 and slips on our floors. He has a luxating patela front leg and issues with back legs so he needs help. Nothing else works. Yes they come off if they get wet but I always make sure I buy two packs at a time so I can replace them as they come off. They don’t even need to be placed on perfectly to help him walk without slipping. Love them.

I recently purchased the Dog Paw Protector XXL, Anti-Slip for my senior pitbull who suffers from arthritis. Our hardwood floors have been a challenge for him, causing a lot of slipping and sliding. I was hopeful these patches would help improve his grip and stability.The patches arrived on July 7th, and I started applying them on the evening of July 8th. Following the instructions, I cut out each individual piece, which was very time-consuming. I applied them before my pup went to sleep, hoping the adhesive would set overnight. However, the next morning, after a short walk to the front yard, every single patch had come off.Undeterred, I tried again the following day. This time, I grouped the patches together to save time, but unfortunately, they only lasted a day. My dog was still slipping and sliding as if the patches weren’t there. I repeated this process two more times, each with the same disappointing result.For the price, I am highly disappointed with this product. The patches do not work as advertised, and the pricing should reflect the poor quality and short usage time. I do not recommend the Dog Paw Protector XXL, Anti-Slip for anyone dealing with a similar situation. Save your time and money.

Don’t Last Even One Day
The first set I bought seemed to last much longer. The second set I bought seems to shift off her feet even though I trim her paws and clean her pads wth rubbing alcohol first. I have to keep cutting the shifted hanging pieces off. I will try doing what others have done and cut each pad into individual pieces to see if that helps. The concept is great I just wish they would stay stuck!

Work great just don’t get wet
I bought the XXL for my 70lb pit bull and they were a great fit. They were easy to put on, you dint have to be super precise with placement. She walked completely norms, didn’t even notice them. They stayed on for our half mile walk and the she didn’t run across the hot asphalt like she normally does, she took her time. They stayed on for our 2nd half mile walk later also. The 2nd day however they came off when she walked through wet grass. They do not leave any residue and are easy to remove. I think they are great and have been telling all my dog parents about them.

Very Sticky
These are great, very stick and easy to use, removal was just as easy with a cup of water. I would not use these on a daily basis, but they are great for slippage and the hot pavement situations. We used them for two days and after that they start to peel up on the side and look very messy which seemed to bother my pup at that time. I would suggest purchasing these if not for everyday use, then emergency situations or camping, maybe a long hike.

Dogs hip saver on wood flooring.
Works great to keep our dog from slipping on wood floors. The set only last a couple days but that allows them to release from the paw pads.
